July 2015 Glambox: A Givenchy-Exlusive Beauty Box

Oh my, August is here. Yes, delayed reaction lang! LOL!  But seriously, days are passing by so fast.  As in ang bilis, bilis. It seems like it was only last week when I arrived and it was only yesterday when I had the "operation." Good thing my boss gave me an extra two weeks as per advised by my OB.  So yes, I'd be here until the 3rd week.   I wish I could stay a lot longer. I am just so happy to be spending a lot of time with my family, especially my Mom. We're not doing our usual out-of-town trips since my movements are still limited but it's okay. We've been having a lot of bonding moments, and for sure I'd go ngawa-ngawa when it's time to leave again. Huhuhu. Just thinking about it makes me cry na. If only I can stay here forever.

Anyway....for today, let me share with you last month's box from Glambox. It was a Givenchy-exlusive beauty box which includes the brand's most iconic products. I haven't gotten my hands on the box yet, but Mr. X have been so sweet to send me all photos of the PR samples /gifts that have been sent to me.

Givenchy Hydra Sparkling First Step Luminescence Moisturizing Lotion

(AED165 / 200ml)

Formulated with Sparkling Water Complex, this moisturizing lotion (or toner, as most people call it including me), prepares the skin in absorbing the other skincare products that will be used after it.  It's is called the sparkling water of the skin because it quenches the skin's thirst to keep it moisturised and nourished.  This can be used by all skin types in the morning and at night after your facial cleansing regimen.

Givenchy Noir Mascara Couture

(AED170/ 8g)

Get instant length, volume and curl with this mascara with its unique three-ball brush and a formula that is not too wet nor to dry. I haven't really seen this product, only on pictures online but I've read a lot of raves about it. Some says it gives the right amount volume and length without looking spidery and that its shade is a perfect, true black. So black they say it can be too much for day wear. Ganun!?  I need this in my life, then! (wink)

Givenchy Le Rouge Lipstick
(AED170 / 3.4g)
Known to be the lipsticks of the sosyals because of its elegant silver and leather tube, this baby is infused with luxe pigments to give your puckers a radiant, lasting colour without drying.  

Givenchy Le Soin Noir Mini Cream
(AED1685 / 50ml)
A beauty-renewal cream which contains precious, natural age-defying ingredient called the Vital Black Algae Sap Concentrate.  It is said to restore, maintain and prolong cellular longevity leaving skin firm, glowing and even-toned.  From the product blurb, it does remind me of the La Mer Moisturizing Cream. Not sure which one works better though as I haven't tried this one while I've only tried La Mer for a few times only.

I'll try these products when I get back and will update you on what I think about them. Honestly, I am really excited as this is going to be the first time to try anything from the brand.

I have one question though: How come there's only 4 products in the box?  It has always been 5 plus a few coupons, so I am quite puzzled as to why the box is missing one item for last month.
