Bobbi Brown Black Pearl Eye Palette...

Image
One brand that I always look forward to whenever they come up with palettes would be Bobbi Brown.  I already have three: Bobbi-to-go , Pretty-in-a-box  and the Beauty Rules . And then just before the holidays, our dear friends from Bobbi Brown gave me one of the palettes from their holiday collection...the Black Pearl eye palette. Ready for wrapping - our Black Pearl eye palette was made for party-luxe eyes.  Six velvety-rich shades were handpicked to help you create dramatic smokey looks with mesmerizing shimmer (depending on how they're applied).  Includes a mini-dual ended shadow/liner brush for precise application wherever you go. Php3200 Like my other Bobbi Brown palettes, this one's also handy.  It comes in a black, glossy plastic packaging with a collegiate-type looking logo. If you're an OC (like me, at times!) , I'm sure you'd hate that you can see your fingerprints all over it. I remember wrapping a tissue paper around it once....

Who says you can't wear Silver and Black for work???

yes ladies, i'm talking about makeup here ^_^ so yeah, whoever said that is definitely nuts. of course, you can still wear such colors for a daytime job. you just need to go easy on packing the color so it won't go TOO dark. MAC e/s in Elektra (lid and a bit heavier on the crease), Carbon (outer-V and emphasized the crease) and Wedge (crease, then topped with the other two colors) uhm, okay..honestly, 'twas just one of those days when I can't really decide what to wear...LOL! and i ended up with this look. it doesn't look that bad anyway, right? and yes, I call it one of my confused eye makeup looks! (wink) excuse those nasty bumps on my cheek... oh yes, that's Sally Hansen's Jumpin' Jade! oh darn, i do look constipated! tata!

just another smokey eyes for my happy friday looks...

like what Sophie posted weeks ago, mineral eyeshadows are still easier to blend as compared to using pressed eyeshadows. unlike its pressed counterparts, blending these loose pigment is a breeze. that i have discovered more than a year ago when i started using minerals. i was never a fan of eyeshadows back then, since i was really having a hard time blending. well, i never knew what blending is all about not until i started applying eye makeup! then i discovered the power of good brushes...and the rest is history. LOL anyways, last Friday, i got to play with colors again. i am guilty of not being able to use my mineral e/s for quite some time now. i really missed playing with them...maybe i would need to press some that i have. but then, that would mean i would need to buy empty palettes and more pigments? hahahha now, on to my looks... EYES: PAC Brow kit in Dark topped with MAC Girl Boy Too Faced Shadow Insurance Milan Minerals e/s in Passion Play on the inner 2/3 of the lid, Sweets...
