...i've enrolled in hairupstyling class! yeeeeeyyy! well, it isn't a class actually. it's a one-on-one tutorial. i wasn't able to get a class schedule that will fit mine since they hold classes on weekdays. and aside from that, their next class will be on the 29th and 30th (Hairupstyling module 1), and hopefully by that time i am already working in my new job. so i really had no choice but to go ahead and take this one-on-one tutorial. :) i bought some stuffs today that i will use for my lessons...i'd be bringing my hair iron and curling iron too! i just found out that good brushes cost a lot too! (gulp) hopefully everything will turn out right. my sched will be tomorrow and on friday (9-5pm) and they told me that i'd be able to learn 16 hair updos. i'm so excited! again, thanks for X for providing me my tuition :) thank you for being so supportive...muah! after this, of course, i wanna take the 2nd module too! (ehem ehem) :D

i am so darn sleepy, and yet, i can't seem to fly myself away to dreamland. i saw LOVELY sitting on top of my TV again, and whoa! i figured that i might as well put my supposedly "sleep time" to good use. so i got my curling iron (i was actually scared that i might burn her hair though) and practice on her. i know...the curls are on different directions. hehhehe...i was watching TV while doing this that i wasn't really concentrating on what i'm doing (ugh, enough excuses...just admit that you suck. wehhee) but honestly, 'twas really hard. her hair just won't behave. I tried not to pull her hair too much coz like what i've mentioned before, she has a bad case of hair fall problem. :P i have no hair accessories with me, but this i've found: I've also tried the tutorial made by fafinettex3 on Youtube (Jessica Alba inspired updo) and she really did a great job. Believe me, i've watched the video and was really amazed on how she was able to ...

inspired by ebeautyblog's post about this cute sidebun hairstyle , i decided to copy it and practice it on LOVELY. I must admit that i had a hard time recreating it, because i am not really into hairstyling (that's why i try to keep my hair short) and i can't put too much gel or spray net on my dummy doll so please bear with my messy version of this hairstyle: my inspiration: my version: another hairstyle: i know they aren't that complicated...but hey, everybody needs to start somewhere right? :) i wish i have hair accessories like ribbons, it might help make the hairstyles a lot prettier. if you know more any tutorials online, gimme some lovin' by giving me the links okie? thanks in advance lovelies! after taking up makeup classes, i just know i need to enroll in hair upstyling as well. i want to be able to do my client's hair aside from makeup. i think it's more practical for clients to have their hair and makeup done by a single person instead of paying for two separate services. but don't get me wrong, i wont be doing both hair and makeup on all occasions. maybe just for instances wherein i would only have one or two clients, or maybe do the bride's (at least) hair and makeup if i'd be offering bridal packages. but because of my work schedule (and yeah, my pocket still needs to recover from the expenses i incurred from my makeup classes) i decided to study on my own first. i've seen a lot of hair upstyling tutorials that i think are easy enough for me to follow. but of course, i would need a model...and this model needs to be with me everytime i would have the time to practice. so i bought myself a dolly and i think it's just right for me to giv...
