Playing with my nails: Ombre and Braid

Just another attempt on doing Ombre nails.
 I first applied white polish on the entire nail and then using a sponge, dabbed the 3 colors.  I also used nails stickers on my thumb.





My inspiration is a "Fish-tail braid" nail art I saw in Instagram.  I know I failed, but I think it still looks like a braid...somehow. (laughs)  I used 3 colors: Pink, Violet and Black.  I did another version using lighter colors, on my sister but I forgot to take a picture.

I'm really enjoying doing "nail art" lately and I really wish I'd become better like my good friend, Nikki.  I am so willing to learn and I am actually considering buying some tools and how-to videos online. 

So yeah, I guess I've found another addiction?

  It's almost Christmas...just two days away and honestly, I don't feel like being festive.  I am going through A LOT these past weeks and as much as I want to say I am okay, I just can't.    How can one be okay when that one person whom you thought would stay with you no matter what just decided to drop everything that has got to do with you and just move on?  How can one be okay when you're told right in your face that he's in love with someone else and that he can't be with you anymore.  How can one be okay when despite everything you still want to hold on and fight for him, but he has given up already...given up on you and given up on the idea of you two being together.   We've been thru a hell lot.  Our relationship is far from being perfect. GLOWW... your way to a younger, brighter and pinkish skin...

There was a time when I was such a sucker for anything whitening. I've tried both IV and oral glutathiones, and of course, whitening lotions. Years passed by and my reasoning went beyond whitening.
