It is no surprise that despite the number of makeup brands available in the market today, there are still a lot of women who think that one has to be an expert first to be able to put these makeup into good use. This can still be true with some brands that tend to intimidate a number of women (and also men) with their products. But not with Make Up Factory, a German-based company that caters to professional makeup artists, and yet brings ease of use and application of high-quality and performance makeup to the general population.

Now, Manila's cosmetic connoisseurs will finally have a chance to check out the brand in their first store located in Bonifacio High Street, exactly in the same spot that used to be Makeup Forever.
It was last month, during an intimate bloggers launch, when I first got to try and check out the products. When I stepped into the store, I felt like I was transported into makeup land. I was like a little kid who got lost in a land full of toys and candies. I was all giddy and excited to do swatches, and of course, have a chit-chat with my fellow bloggers.

Did you know that Mikee was the first makeup artist I became friends with? She was the one who started my addiction with another makeup brand that she used to work with. I'm just so glad I was able to spend some time talking to her about makeup (and life) again before I leave.

I've noticed that they don't have darker shades of foundations, and that most of the shades cater to Caucasian skintones. But I'm pretty sure they'll come up with a wider range of shades soon. Still, it's better to check them out yourself, and who knows, you might be able to get a good match like I did.
