I'm sure that by now you already know that Happy Skin has finally opened their first standalone store. It's located near the entrance of Rustan's in Glorietta 3. Also, they have released their Holiday 2015 Collection called Read My Lips. Yes my loves, it's all about giving our puckers a whole lot of love. Well, the brand is most well-known for their lippies in the first place, so why not!? This time, the lippies are packaged in hardbound "books" which you can recycle and use to store your abubots.
They have release a total of 4 books, but I skipped the How To Conquer The World because I already have Hear Me Roar and Royal Treatment lip lacquers. To check swatches, please click here.
I initially thought of skipping the other new shades because 1) I'm not due to receive another box from PH (My Mom/Aunt sends me a package with all the stuff I get from our PR friends back home and some stuff that I use and cannot find here) and 2) I have tons of lipsticks already (I really can't stress this enough) Hahaha! But, I don't think I'd be able to sleep at night knowing that I'd be missing out a lot if I don't get these babies. Fortunately, I have a friend who's travelling back to UAE after a vacation in PH and ding-ding! That's my sign! LOL!
So my loves, I present to you 3 of the 4 books that lipstick lovers would not dare skip this holiday season...the Happy Skin Cosmetics' Read My Lips Holiday 2015 Collection.

Pucker Up - Stay Happy - Strike A Pose
Happy Skin Moisturizing Lippie in Pucker Up
Pucker Up being this gorgeous pinkish nude (for me, everything pretty is nude hahaha), definitely had me at first swipe. I mean it's so purrtyy, what's there not to love!?
^_^
Happy Skin Moisturizing Lippie in Stay Happy
Stay Happy is another pretty shade, so for me it's still nude but this time it's peachy nude. LOL! Peachy shades don't usually go with my skin tone but me thinks this one suits me. It's light but not too light to make me look washed out.
Happy Skin Moisturizing Lippie in Strike A Pose
Strike A Pose is a pretty berry shade, but I wish that it went darker. Though it looks fine, I find that berry shades look better on me when they are dark. Berry shades are like reds on me, they sometimes tend to look off on me.

Happy Skin Moisturizing Matte Lippie in Heartbreaker
Heartbreaker is a bright cherry red that will suit all skin tones. It's not as opaque as Hot Stuff, but is definitely buildable. Go sheer if you are starting out with wearing reds and layer if you want your pouting lips to do the talking.
Happy Skin Moisturizing Matte Lippie in IT Girl
Another nude, yay! It does look like Stay Happy but this one's a bit darker.

Fall In Love - Laugh Always
Fall In Love
Another peach from the collection. It's pretty but I think this would look better on the cheeks. But that's just me.
Laugh Always
Laugh Always is a mid-toned mauve pink shade. It's really pretty and would look good on all skin tones. I've tried using it as a blush and it gave me that naturally-blushing look. And just like the other lip and cheek mousse from Happy Skin, it also stayed put for hours and can be used either before or after foundation. Great for retouching too!
I'm not sure if it's just me though, but when these two are swatched side by side, I can hardly tell the difference. But how could that be, one is peach and the other is pinky? I think I need to have my eyes checked. LOL!
So how about you, did you get anything from their new collection? I wish they would come up with new shades of blushes next, and eyeliners. And maybe brow mascaras too...and more skincare?
^_^
Oh by the way, the lippies can be bought individually too! But I would suggest getting the boxed set since it will come out cheaper and the boxes are too gorgeous not to get! So there you go, tata!
