July 2015 Glambox: A Givenchy-Exlusive Beauty Box

Image
Oh my, August is here. Yes, delayed reaction lang ! LOL!  But seriously, days are passing by so fast.  As in ang bilis, bilis. It seems like it was only last week when I arrived and it was only yesterday when I had the "operation." Good thing my boss gave me an extra two weeks as per advised by my OB.  So yes, I'd be here until the 3rd week.   I wish I could stay a lot longer. I am just so happy to be spending a lot of time with my family, especially my Mom. We're not doing our usual out-of-town trips since my movements are still limited but it's okay. We've been having a lot of bonding moments, and for sure I'd go ngawa-ngawa when it's time to leave again. Huhuhu. Just thinking about it makes me cry na . If only I can stay here forever. Anyway....for today, let me share with you last month's box from Glambox. It was a Givenchy-exlusive beauty box which includes the brand's most iconic products. I haven't gotten my hands on the box ye...

The June 2015 Glambox

We're on the 2nd week of July and I am posting this just today? Seriously?  Well,  as they say, it's better  late than never! ^_^ June 2015 Glambox Termed by Glambox as their Arabian Nights themed box, this box has a touch of both modern and international beauty picks.  It has skincare, makeup, fragrance, nail care and what excites me the most, a generous strip of temporary body stickers inspired by henna tattoos.  Let's check them out one by one, shall we? Jergens Smoothing Oud Dry Skin Moisturizer (AED24 / 600ml) Inspired by Oud, referred to as probably the most expensive oil in the world, this moisturizer hydrates and improves skin texture paving the way for a visibly smoother, more luminous-looking skin. The scent is a pleasant mixture of sweet, woody, aromatic and musk. I initially thought the scent might be too strong for my liking, but I was wrong.  I get to appreciate it more once applied on the skin. I like using it at ...

And, it's a Sunday once again! For those in this part of the planet, it means time to get our asses back to work. Weekend is over, my loves! And though I'm sure most of us pretty much wants to get stuck on the weekend, we gotta do what we gotta do. Don't fret, time flies so damn fast, it's gonna be the weekend again sooner than you expect it. Today, I'm going to share with you last month's box from Glambox.  I know a lot of people have been continuously disappointed with the previous months' boxes, so let's see if last month's box deserves a thumbs up or a thumbs down.  January 2015 Glambox Bath and Body Works Fragrance Mist in A Thousand Wishes (AED 35/ 88ml) This is the brand's offering for Winter 2014. It has a festive blend sparkling champagne, crystal peonies and almond creme.  When I opened the box and saw this, I immediately took a sniff and I instantly fell inlove with the scent.  It's fruity but not overly sweet...

'sup my loves!? It's midweek (at least in this part of our world) and I'm sure like me,  you can't wait until it's again the weekend. What are your plans?   For me, I'm expecting this weekend to be busier than my usual eat-sleep-watch tv, because there's a few errands hubby and I need to do, a kids' party and a crash course training for my new job. Oh yeah,  I am moving to a new job. I'd tell you about it later but for now, I can tell you that I'm scared. Scared because it's gonna be something new for me and it was decision I've thought long and hard.  Geesh,  I still have second thoughts about it to be honest but I already made a decision.  I just hope and pray that this change will be worth it and that this is  indeed something that I need to do for now.  SIGH.   Hay Lord, ikaw na po bahala. Anyways, another month is ending it's again time for unboxing a beauty box from Glambox Middle East!  Unlike last month's box, thi...

I know I oftentimes call myself weird, but here's something that will make you agree with me:   If there's work the following day, my mind won't stop thinking about the things I'd be doing at work. It's like my mind's already planning the entire next day for me.  And I just can't stop it.  My body's tired and I can be so sleepy but my mind won't just shut off!  If it's a weekend the next day, it's automatic…I go off to dreamland as soon as I go to bed.  Now, as I am typing this post, it's almost 2am.  I try to get off my mind about my work tomorrow by blogging and hopefully my mind would then be ready to hit the sack when I'm done.  I normally go to sleep at around 3am on weekdays. So that explains these humungous eye bags. I was thinking of what to tell you next after my Viseart post then I remembered my July Glambox.  Usually, I get the box around 3rd week of the month but this one I got early…like a few days before July! ...
