Make Up Forever Aqua Shadows in 24E and 4E

Image
It's Sunday and for us here in this part of the world, it means BACK TO WORK! ^_^ Don't get me wrong, I am not complaining. Yes, Sunday isn't my favourite day of the week (and so is Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, LOL!) but it doesn't mean I'm gonna just sit around and throw tantrums the whole day (though sometimes I wish I can). I gotta get my butt to work because it pays the bills, funds my upcoming you-know-what and whatnots. Besides, I should be thankful that I have a job in the first place.  A lot of people wish they have one, 'yah know! For today lemme share with you what I use for my eye makeup on days when I don't have much time to spare.  Most especially on a Sunday when I usually don't get much sleep the night before. I wish I can just get away with curling my lashes and loading them up with coats of mascara but it makes me feel like my eyes look a lot more sleepy than usual. Parang they look so plain pa. So what I do is ...

Anastasia Amrezy Palette: Swatches + First Impressions...

Image
And finally, I got my hands on this Anastasia Amrezy Eyeshadow Palette! I know I have tons of eyeshadows enough to last me a lifetime but when I saw photos of this online, I just knew I had to have one because…I am a makeup junkie like that! Hahaha!    Anastasia Amrezy Eyeshadow Palette (USD 29) Actually, it's been a while since I last bought an eyeshadow palette and what really made me buy this one is the colours in it.  I've been so into earth-tones lately but I still try to add a pop of colour just so my peepers won't look too boring (or normal, hahah!) And this palette has all that: perfect shades great for an everyday makeup look plus two of my most favourite colours, purple and green!  Isn't this a beauty?

Viseart Matte Eyeshadows Palette...

Some days ago at work while in the middle of something, I took a pause and asked myself, "Are you okay?"  I did say I am but another question popped, "Are you sure?"  Again, I said yes but that tiny voice persisted, "Are you really, really sure?"  Annoyed, I again answered back, "Yes." I'm not losing my mind, okay. (laughs) But sometimes it's easier to just say you are okay than to go explaining why you're not. YES!? Usually, I'd love to say what's in my mind but lately, I tend to just keep my mouth shut and pretend there's nothing that bothers me.  Why? Because 1) I'm scared people will get tired of listening and trying to understand what I feel and 2) oftentimes I get told that what I feel is not right.  And therefore, I get confused and then I start to doubt myself.  So yeah, just say you're okay and things will be a lot simpler…but that's just me.   Anyway, if you're following me on Instagram an...

Product Review: Maybelline Color Tattoo 24HR Eyeshadow...

Image
If you love cream eyeshadows, like MAC Paint Pots and Benefit Creaseless Cream Shadows, then you might want to check out this cheaper alternative from Maybelline.  But take note that you might want to get any shade except Painted Purple.  Wanna know why? Read on... Maybelline Color Tattoo 24HR Eyeshadow According to Maybelline, this stuff has their ink technology giving it a super saturated color that is smudge-proof and crease-proof for 24hrs!  Now I don't know who would want to wear an eye makeup for an entire day.  But if you do, then I am most certain that this baby is for you. There are a lot of shades to choose from, and Maybelline did a great job in the color selection.  They have great neutrals and brights in slightly shimmery formulation (so, no need to be scared to look like a disco ball) and even mattes! Packaging is more like that of Benefit's Creaseless Cream Shadows.  Also like MAC's Paint Pots but MAC has a r...

Makeup Factory Eye Color in #47...

Image
A woman can never have too much makeup...at least, that's true in my case! (laughs)  So yes, I still get excited whenever I get new makeup, despite having tons of it already.   I don't even know if I can get to finish everything but I don't care.  It's nice to get new stuff, more so if it's a gift, right!?   ^_^ So for today I wanna show you this baby that I got as a gift from our friends from Makeup Factory and ARC PR (Thanks so much), the Makeup Factory Eye Color in #47: I have a lot of purples already, but the colors in this quad are just so beautiful that I'm willing to forget the rest of my purples...for now. ^_^ So let me tell you my thoughts about this quad that I believe is a part of their Fall and Winter Collection 2012: Packaging is quite nice.  My only issue is that eventually, it will get some scratches and won't look as nice and shiny.  I like that it comes with a mirror, but I wish it's bigger. It also comes ...

For the women on the move: Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Cream Shadow Sticks...

Image
When Bobbi Brown came up with their Long-Wear Cream Eyeshadows   (see my feature look here ) , it became an instant favorite in my makeup arsenal.  It's your best bet if you're a (kikay) woman who's always on the move.  And just when you thought things couldn't get any better with Bobbi Brown, they launched their Long-Wear Cream Shadow Sticks . Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Cream Shadow Stick Effortless and high impact-that's the essence of NEW Long-Wear Cream Shadow Stick. This do-it-all formula glides on tug-free and can be used to shade, define, smoke up and highlight eyes. In subtle to eye-popping shades that last for up to 8 hours without creasing, flaking or fading, it's a stroke of genius. Just swipe on and go. I got the shade in Sand Dune: Sand Dune is a lovely, warm peachy-nude shade.  It's such a pretty lid-color that can you can wear on its own, or as a base to your darker shades of eye shadows.   I apply this ...

AVON Holiday Collection Makeup Palette: Swatches, Review + FOTD..

Image
Can you believe it's February already!?  Time flies sooo fast, and before you know it, it's Christmas time again!  (laughs)  Anyhoo, I bet you were able to get some of your favorite things as gifts during the holidays.  I was able to get a number of gifts last Christmas and would you believe they kept pouring in until January?  Thanks to our dear friends for sending me some love! For today, I want to show you this makeup palette that I got from our dear friends from AVON and Ogilvy: AVON Holiday Collection Makeup Palette This palette has 8 shimmery eyeshadows and 2 blushes, one is matte and the other one's shimmery. Looking at this palette  made me remember that my first makeup palette actually came from Avon.  And why not?  I mean, Avon is such a household name and it's been like that for years!  I remember saving a part of my allowance to buy myself stuff from our dear Avon lady.  Ohh, I remem...
