My Kanebo Coffret D'Or Trance Deep Eyes in Rose look...

Image
Since the day I saw my mom's Coffret D'Or in Grey, i've been wanting to get myself one of these cute palettes from Kanebo. I've been reading a lot of raves on Kanebo makeup and the curious cat me in can't wait to at least own one. Maybe an angel have heard my plea, and my wish came true: my very own Kanebo Coffret D'Or palette in Rose thanks again to a dear friend who gave this as a freebie during one of our swaps (yep, she's that generous that she gave this for free!) revisiting my UD Book of Shadows vol. 1...

i've been harassing Sol's UD BOS vol. 2 for weeks now, that i missed my own BOS vol.1 so i decided to give it some lovin'. UD eyeshadows are such a breeze to blend. Colors are highly pigmented and doesn't crease...i want more of their eyeshadows! with that in mind...it makes me think "geesh, when will i ever get my hands on Alice in Wonderland BOS?" PAC brow kit TFSI + MAC PP in Soft Ochre UD e/s in Gridlock (inner half), Protest (outer half) MAC Penultimate liner in Rapid Black Maybelline Cat Eyes mascara Prestige White eyeliner MAC brow set in Beguile TFS primer in green Cinemasecrets concealer MAC SS concealer in NW20 Maybelline loose mineral foundation in Buff MAC True Romantic Shu Uemura matte loose powder NYX lipgloss in Natural i dunno why my BANGS are a mess here. seems like they have a mind of their own...they're everywhere and just won't stay where i want them to stay. mom says i look like me when i was in my sophomore year in highschool....

Tutorial: Golden Brown

Image
For this look, i used my neglected Shiseido Silk Eyeshadow quad in Thunder and Lighting. I got it last year and i haven't been using it that much. Personally, i find the eyeshadow too powdery. And the shimmers, it falls off like crazy! I ended up with shimmers on my cheeks...argh. anyways, on with the tutorial: 1. Prime your lids. I used Too Faced Shadow Insurance and topped it with MAC paintpot in Soft Ochre: 2. Apply the yellow gold shade on the inner 3/4 of the lid: 3. Apply the brown shade on the outer lid: 4. Blend with the yellow, add more if needed. Blend, blend, blend: 5. Apply highlighter (MAC Shroom), curl lashes and apply coats of mascara. Line the upper and lower lashlines: Hope you like it! If you have any requests on what look (can be one of my previous EOTDs), leave me a message on my cbox or shoot me an email. tata!

just another smokey eyes for my happy friday looks...

like what Sophie posted weeks ago, mineral eyeshadows are still easier to blend as compared to using pressed eyeshadows. unlike its pressed counterparts, blending these loose pigment is a breeze. that i have discovered more than a year ago when i started using minerals. i was never a fan of eyeshadows back then, since i was really having a hard time blending. well, i never knew what blending is all about not until i started applying eye makeup! then i discovered the power of good brushes...and the rest is history. LOL anyways, last Friday, i got to play with colors again. i am guilty of not being able to use my mineral e/s for quite some time now. i really missed playing with them...maybe i would need to press some that i have. but then, that would mean i would need to buy empty palettes and more pigments? hahahha now, on to my looks... EYES: PAC Brow kit in Dark topped with MAC Girl Boy Too Faced Shadow Insurance Milan Minerals e/s in Passion Play on the inner 2/3 of the lid, Sweets...

another NYX eotd...

Image
i am so eager to try out my NYX makeup that i got months ago...geesh, i have lots of makeup still left unused. i might have been missing out from not trying them...who knows, they might end up to be better than what i got used to. and yep...it's another neutral look. LOL...but this i promise you ladies, i am going to have my colleagues get used to my bright eye makeup, little by little. =P EYES: PAC Brow kit in Dark topped with MAC Girl Boy Too Faced Shadow Insurance NYX e/s in Highlight on the inner 2/3 of the lid and also used as highlight and NYX e/s in Iced Mocha on the outer-V and outer crease MAC fluidline in Dipdown on the upper lash lines PAC eyeliner in Brown Black on the waterlines Covergirl Lash Exact mascara in Black Brown what can i say about NYX e/s? well, i find them easy to blend. and it stays put (but yeah, i am using a primer beneath but as i've mentioned a lot of times already, i tend to crease when i'm using TFSI) so i guess staying power is good. will t...
