V-day is in a few days, have you made any plans yet? As to me and Mr. X, I don't think we're going out on the day itself, that is, if he's even planning to take me out on a date.  Let's see what ex-boyfie has in store for me.   I had extra time the other day to play with makeup, so I came up with something that isn't my usual neutrals.  This is something you can wear for your date on V-day, or on any day when you want to look pa-sweet. One thing i love about my workplace here is I don't get stared at when they see me with full makeup on.  Nor hear comments like, "Where's the party?" It's not because all the women wear makeup at work, because I still see a lot of girls in the office who don't wear makeup.  My fellow kabayans from another department don't wear makeup, but they don't make snide remarks, make me feel I'm so different or out of place.  I guess the people I work with now are more open-minded and they respect one's individuality. And those people (at least most of them) I used to work with  before?  Well, inggit lang sila . If not, well, I seriously can't think of another reason why they are like that. Or hmm, maybe they just hate it because I'm not a natural beauty like what they think or claim to be.  Maybe that's just it. So okay, unlike them, I'll try to respect whatever it is they think of themselves.  ^_^ I haven't posted an FOTD ...

And I'm back for another Holiday Makeup Look!  I know this isn't the first time you'd see a smokey gold makeup look from me but hey, I've used gold glitters this time…it does make it different, right!? Right!? Please say right. I beg you. ^_^ Anyway, here's the look: I was supposed to do a video tutorial for this one but if I did, this post won't make it this year…maybe after a couple of months!  Geesh, I have a number of videos I've been meaning to edit but procrastination always gets the best of me.  So I hope a photo tutorial would do for now...

A few days to go and it's Christmas! It's my first time to celebrate Christmas away from my family, so I'm not really in a very festive mood.  But it'll be my first time to celebrate Christmas with the hubby after so many years so that would make up for it.  Hopefully next year, we'll be home for the holidays.  Iba talaga ang Pasko sa Pinas (Christmas is really different in the Philippines), and I'm sure kabayans will totally agree with me on that! I'm also sure that by now, you're (almost) done with your gift shopping so I won't be posting about gift ideas anymore.  Instead, I'll be giving you ideas on what makeup to wear for the parties you'd be attending this holiday season.  And for today, let's make those brown eyes pop more with this Green and Gold combo...

It's been a while since I last posted an FOTD here.  I stay at home most of the time and even if I go out,   I don't really wear much eye makeup except for my usual winged liner.  So when I reached out for my eyeshadow brushes yesterday (for my Chelsea Grin look) I kinda thought I might have already forgot some things about blending.  But yeah, some things cannot be easily forgotten.  Though it surely helps to do some practice every now and then. Have you ever worn orange red-toned eyeshadows?  For a time, I stayed away from them because they can make the eyes (or worse, the face) look swollen and tired. When used properly, these eye shadows can still make you look fresh and fab without having to look clown-y or haggard. Weee!! Hello, first Friday of April! A month to go and it's gonna be my 25th birthday! Opps, don't you dare burst my bubble...I am turning 25, period! ^_^ Anyway, I realized that it's been a while since I last posted an FOTD.  So here's a look I did a couple of days ago.  I've finally used my MAC Archie liner in Petrol Blue after weeks of trying not to...hahaha, I didn't want to use it because I don't want to sharpen the cute  little thing!   But I did.  Well, it's just too pretty...it's the perfect dark navy liner with shimmers.  Really intense pigmentation and glides on like silk.  I'm just sort of worried that this won't last me too long because with it's soft, creamy texture, I would always have to sharpen it after each use.  I was afraid that it might smudge on me but surprisingly, it didn't.   K-Palette Long Lasting Eyebrow L'oreal eyepencil Majolica Majorca Lash and Brow Colorist  UDPP Urba...
