Blue Smokey eyes look...

I've realized that it's been a while since i last wore dark eye makeup. so last night, i decided to try out the In2it palette i've purchased weeks ago. I was actually thinking of using this palette for my Smokey Eyes look for the finals but i ended up using MAC pigments. Also, for two days in a row, i've been using my Monave foundation in Caroline. And guess what, no itching! Prolly because it's been cold for the past few days because of the storm? or my skin finally stopped being allergic to mineral foundation? I've been itching from mmu foundation even those without bismuth. Sophie told me that i might be allergic to mica. :( but given a cold weather, i am surely loving Monave foundation. It really stays put and with the help of the brush Phoebe gave to me, i am finally able to apply it properly. :) First, let me show you my in2it palette: no flash with flash (note: no primer used for the swatches) price: P349.50 or approximately$7-8. my say: has a great c...

my attempt on smokey eyes + falsies....on myself!

Image
i so love the smokey eyes look...but i haven't tried it on myself. i've watched a lot of youtube tutorials and i thought it was easy....i thought wrong. last Saturday, we had our lesson on smokey eyes + falsies and i must admit, my teacher kept on telling me that mine looks messy. i was getting really frustrated...(sob). good thing, my model TIN kept on encouraging me until i finally did it (i did, didn't i?). i so love Tin's eyes after the makeover...love it so much that i decided to try it on myself. (headband worn for the purpose of pulling my hair back...only) anyways, i found out that it's not really easy to do the smokey eyes look...i dunno, i tend to really mess it up. also, putting false eyelashes on yourself is so damn hard! geesh, how come others can do it in a breeze? so what do you think? can i pull off such looks? what else do i need to improve on this look? i honestly think i suck in blending the colors and that the eyemakeup isn't even at ...

Review: Careline Loose eyeshadow powder

I bought my first few shades of this when they first came out in the market, hmmm... 2 years ago? i had little or no idea at all of how to apply eyeshadows properly back then so what i did was after my foundation, i twist its cap and start applying the pigment using the e/s sponge applicator that came with it. i was quite frustrated when i ended up getting flecks on my undereyes and on my cheeks...i had to re-apply my foundation because of that! (yep, no loose powder to catch falling pigments...and no idea bout fan brushes!) aside from that, even though it's new, you would have to shake it like how you do a salt shaker if you want to have more pigment. it's quite annoying to continuously dip the sponge applicator over and over again because the way it's packaged, it doesn't allow you to get a whole lot of pigment. But despite of those, i was still determined to try it out. Besides, i got some of my fave shades of green, purple and the one shade a lot of people ha...
