just another smokey eyes for my happy friday looks...

like what Sophie posted weeks ago, mineral eyeshadows are still easier to blend as compared to using pressed eyeshadows. unlike its pressed counterparts, blending these loose pigment is a breeze. that i have discovered more than a year ago when i started using minerals. i was never a fan of eyeshadows back then, since i was really having a hard time blending. well, i never knew what blending is all about not until i started applying eye makeup! then i discovered the power of good brushes...and the rest is history. LOL anyways, last Friday, i got to play with colors again. i am guilty of not being able to use my mineral e/s for quite some time now. i really missed playing with them...maybe i would need to press some that i have. but then, that would mean i would need to buy empty palettes and more pigments? hahahha now, on to my looks... EYES: PAC Brow kit in Dark topped with MAC Girl Boy Too Faced Shadow Insurance Milan Minerals e/s in Passion Play on the inner 2/3 of the lid, Sweets...

gimme money for a mojito...

(me laughing at my post title) well, i was trying to figure out the combo that i would be wearing for my friend's wedding. the motiff is green and copper so i figured that probably i should be wearing green...and since i'm not really into lipsticks (i prefer nudish pinks) i thought of wearing something strong...something dark...probably smokey. i am not sure if that would be okay to wear in a wedding though. anyways, here's what i came up with. (definitely not smokey) sighs i badly need some help... used: UDPP + MAC PP in Soft Ochre all over lid, Milan e/s in Milan's Mojito from the lash lines to just above the crease, Milan's e/s in Money Green on the outer-V, eye contour and as a liner on the lower lash lines, Meow IdealEyes in Kept Kitty applied below the brow bones to highlight, Everyday Minerals e/s in Smokey as eye liner on the upper lash lines, L'oreal Lash Architect mascara in black and Modelco Brow kit in Dark (before buffing in my concealer hehehe)...

some EOTNs....

another reason why i went home this weekend is: my mineral makeup loot! from Dreamworld: foundation samples (though i already found my shade with them): creme toppings samples (i am now waiting for my full-sized pot of Butter Creme): samples of eyeshadows and blushes from different worlds: from LUMIERE: two 4g pots of my current HG mmu foundation: Light Medium Neutral in Cashmere formula. And a few samples from their other foundation formulas eyeshadows and blushes samples: from MILAN MINERALS: pigment samples: more pigments samples: and some more pigment samples! and i also got myself their Gelle Drops: HUGE!? na-ahhh... hehehe...how cute! and finally from COASTALSCENTS: weeee....i love their brushes! i also got myself their new product, an eyeliner in Brown (in my case, i'm going to use it as an eyebrow liner so i won't need to bring my Modelco brow kit anymore) i was inspecting the brushes when one of them made me go "oh!" and so i rushed to my room to get ano...
