trying out my 120-color palette...

like a little kid, i'm always excited to play with my new stuffs. so last night, i decided to try out my new color palette...(giddy) (giddy). but first, let me show you the colors i've used: now on to my looks: EYES: Modelco Brow kit in Dark topped with MAC Girl Boy Too Faced Shadow Insurance (from my 120-color palette) shade #1 on the lid, shade #2 on the crease, shade #3 on the outer-V and crease and on the lower lashlines (forgot what i used to highlight) MAC Dipdown on the upper lashlines and smudged on the lower lashlines Covergirl VolumeExact mascara FACE: Monistat as primer Cinema Secrets concealer on the undereyes (topped with OM Saffron concealer), sides of the nose and blemishes Monave Caroline Cargo Blu Ray pressed powder (as finishing powder MAC Sculpt and Shape for contouring, MAC SF powder in NC25 to highlight Cargo blush LIPS: In2it l/s MAC gellee in Dewy Jube I've mentioned before that i tend to crease a bit when i use TFSI, right? but look at the after p...

i can't remember if i already tried this combo...hmm, maybe i did. but probably using mmu eyeshadows. anyways, i am so liking the colors of my Nichido eyeshadows that i decided to use it for my eotn. Lovin' the finish..and again, with a good primer it will surely last the whole day. my "confused" look...

did it ever happen to you that you didn't like what eye makeup you came up with? or maybe you had no idea what look you want that you just went on applying color and then ended up with something you didn't like? well, it happens to me most of the time. then i'd be too lazy to start all over again, so i'd just tweak the colors until i get what i want...well, that is, if i'd end up with the colors i really want. most of the time, i just had to be satisfied with what i came up with since i am already running late for work. so last night, i went thru it again. I tried to stay away from my usual purples, yet i ended up with it. here's another attempt on smokey eyes...i was trying to have a soft brown/black look, but still ended up with a dark one. ^_^ EYES: Modelco Brow kit in Dark topped with MAC Girl Boy MAC Eye Kohl in Phone Number on the upper lash lines (applied thick then smudged) topped with MAC e/s in Espresso, NYX Ultra Chic trio (middle color) blended on the crease up to the brow bones Shiseido Lash Base topped with VMV Ohla-lash mascara MUFE Aqua eyes liner in black on the waterlines FACE: Monistat as primer Monave Caroline topped with Lauress Radiant Ivory CinemaSecrets concealer for the undereyes and sides of the nose Oceanmist Saffron Concealer on the undereyes MAC Sculpt and Shape TFS Blush in Pastel Pink LIPS: MAC Peachstock Artdeco lipgloss in #28 so there...my failed attempt on a soft brown/black smokey eyes. oh well, try again! tata!
