work's still crazy (will even get crazier) and i spend most of my wake hours in the office...i haven't been blogging as much as i used to and i haven't been able to grant any requests =( on top of that, i haven't been wearing eye makeup for weeks because i'd rather sleep for a few more minutes instead of waking up early to do my makeup. i think i'll be losing my mind in no time...rAAAARRR! to finally be able to add some color on my face is like a breath of fresh air for me. it somehow uplifts my mood...and makes me feel a lot more energized despite the lack of sleep and working almost 15hrs a day. so last friday, i ignored the fact that i was running late already as i took time to come up with a fresh look that will help brighten up my day: PAC brow kit MAC brow set in Beguile UDPP MAC e/s in Bitter (lid), Humid (outer-V and crease), Shroom (highlight) MAC Blacktrack UD 24/7 liner in Zero Maybelline Cat Eye mascara Laura Mercier primer MAC SS concealer in NW...

on days when i haven't had enough sleep the night before (which happens quite often), i try to stay away from dark eye makeup and just play with fresh and glowing shades of pink or peaches. to make the eyes pop and look more awake, lining the lashes with dark but still playful shades will help. i've been harassing Sol's UD BOS vol. 2 for weeks now, that i missed my own BOS vol.1 so i decided to give it some lovin'. UD eyeshadows are such a breeze to blend. Colors are highly pigmented and doesn't crease...i want more of their eyeshadows! with that in mind...it makes me think "geesh, when will i ever get my hands on Alice in Wonderland BOS?" nope, this isn't a food post...but a look i came up with using UD Book of Shadows vol. 2 which was given to me by Sol. LOL! alright, i'm kiddin' she's just too nice to let me borrow this since i wasn't able to get myself one. ARGH! surprisingly, i was able to come up with a boring neutral look for my first attempt in using it: PAC browkit UDPP UD e/s in YDK and Twice Baked, a bit of Perversion Maybelline Cat Eyes mascara MAC liner in Smoldering MAC fluidline in Blacktrack Smashbox Photofinish primer MAC SS concealer in NW20 MAC Select Cover in NW20 Revlon Colorstay in Buff MAC SF Powder in NC20 Maybelline blush in Watermelon Monave foundation concealer in Caroline Shu Uemura Matte Loose powder NYX l/s in Fig see those blemishes? they are so horrible that i intentionally loaded up on concealer, it did blend on my skin after anyways. i really am beginning to be into neutrals these days...it's a no-brainer look to come up with when you're in a hurry!

Thank God It's Friday! Anybody excited for the weekend? I definitely am. I'd be meeting mom tomorrow to get the stuff she got for me, and of course, would be sleeping and eating to my hearts content day-in and day-out. yey, my first Happy Friday look for 2010! it's been a long time since my last colorful eotd. i've been wearing a lot of neutrals lately due to lack of time preparing in the morning, and i kinda lost my makeup mojo for the past weeks because i am breaking out so bad. then days ago, i tried browsing thru my old looks and i missed my colorful looks in the past. i wonder, am i really the one who did that? it's playtime once again, and this time, it's for a dear online friend who requested for a wedding look. sorry if this took a while, sis...i'm quite sure that i wasn't able to copy the look from the peg you showed me, but i do hope you'll like this. the look is a bit modern as i've used a bit of color compared to neutrals which are usually used in bridal makeup. i enjoyed doing this look since, well...i love colors :) i actually hoped that this is the look i went for when i got married 2 mos ago. i was too confused and excited that i had no time to think of about makeup...and yeah, i was short on time too. but i'll have a second chance, as i am again getting married next year...to the same man, of course! so here's the look: PAC brow kit topped with MAC brow set in Beguile MAC e/s in Jest, All that Glitters on the inner half of the lid and Parfait Amour, Poison Pen on the outer half.
