Lately, I've been playing with colors again and been trying to get back my makeup mojo. I've been backreading my previous posts and have seen my colorful looks. I then asked myself, WTH happened? ^_^ Probably when this continues, I'll have Happy Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday..... Here's a yellow-green look I wore last week. how'd you feel if you are told to work on a weekend? geesh, can you imagine working 2 days more after a grueling five working days? just when you thought you'd be bumming at home or probably be somewhere to relax and de-stress...boss would say "come to work!" awwwww! in as much as i wanted to start a revolution and go nuts against my boss...i might as well take advantage of the weekend work by extending my Happy Friday look. at least there would be less people staring at you wondering why on earth you're wearing party makeup at daytime, tee-hee. Last Friday isn't really a "happy" day for me. i was feeling a bit uneasy bout something i don't even know. i feel agitated and stressed out...good thing i didn't drop by the mall, or else. ugh, i need to stop spending for the upcoming rainy days :) i wanted to feel a bit summer-y despite the bad weather...so i took my newest loot from MAC and dolled myself up: MAC Bright Future on the lid, Vibrant Grape on the outer-V and crease MAC Shroom as highlight MUFE brow corrector in 0 MAC Blacktrack fluidline Maybelline Cat eyes mascara Revlon Colorstay eyeliner Geo Lens in Ash Wing Dior Nude Foundation TFS loose powder MAC Sculpt and Shape MAC blush in Dainty MAC Sculpt and Shape MUFE HD Finishing powder Smashbox l/s in Sweet no camwhoring pics...see, i told you i was feeling different that day. ugh!

For this look, i used my neglected Shiseido Silk Eyeshadow quad in Thunder and Lighting. I got it last year and i haven't been using it that much. Personally, i find the eyeshadow too powdery. And the shimmers, it falls off like crazy! I ended up with shimmers on my cheeks...argh. anyways, on with the tutorial: 1. Prime your lids. I used Too Faced Shadow Insurance and topped it with MAC paintpot in Soft Ochre: 2. Apply the yellow gold shade on the inner 3/4 of the lid: 3. Apply the brown shade on the outer lid: 4. Blend with the yellow, add more if needed. Blend, blend, blend: 5. Apply highlighter (MAC Shroom), curl lashes and apply coats of mascara. Line the upper and lower lashlines: Hope you like it!
