Happy Tuesday, my loves! Oh-Em-Gee , can you believe it's June already?  Don't get me wrong, it's also the 2nd of June here on my side of the world, it's just that my reaction came too late. LOL!   But seriously, time really flies.  It feels like we've just celebrated New Year the other day! ^_^ Anyway, summer is definitely on here in the UAE. I think our temperature here reaches almost 40C (or beyond?) during the day.  I get off from the office at around 5-ish and as soon as I step out, I feel like I'm in sauna or there's a tambutso (car exhaust) right in front of my face.  It's so freakin' hot!  But if you think that's too hot already, just wait until it's July or August when our temperature reaches as high as 50C! So whenever I talk to my friends in Manila and they complain how hot it is there, I'd be like, "yeah, whatever!" Summer is all about florals, loose and light-colored clothes and of course, fragranc...

I woke up today and realized, we're on the last month of the first quarter of the year!  Oh geesh, ang bilis talaga ng araw .  I feel so pressured! Most especially because in a few days, it's gonna be my Mahal's birthday and until now I don't have an idea yet of what to give him. Though we've agreed we won't be giving extravagant gifts this year because we need to save up for something REALLY IMPORTANT (care to guess what it is?), I still feel like I need to give him something.  It doesn't have to be big, but gosh, I really am running out of ideas. Besides, we've been together for more than 21 years and I think I've already given him all possible presents I could give him (except for one..sniff).  Give me more gift ideas please. This coming holiday season, more and more beautiful things are coming our way!   One of them is the Lanvin Eclat d'Arpege Gourmandise , the new limited 2012 edition of the original Eclat d'Arpege fragrance, first introduced way back in 2002. Calvin Klein perfumes has got to be one of my favorites.  Some of the CK perfumes I've used are: CK1, CKIN2U, Escape, Krave and of course, Eternity .  My favorite perfume for men up until now is still Eternity for Men.  I still remember how I love the scent that I bought myself a small bottle.  (laughs) I didn't mind being told that I smell like a man.   In the Spring of 2010, Eternity for Men Aqua was launched. Bvlgari Mon Jasmin Noir Eau Exquise Full of sparkles, Mon Jasmin Noir L'Eau Exquise is a new fresh floral interpretation of the Eau de Parfum. This Eau de Toilette reveals a Jasmine Eau that captures the vitality of the Mediterranean garden, where verdant nature meets fresh, cascading fountains.     When I got this, and read Jasmin on the box, I immediately thought this would be one heavy, dramatic fragrance that would be best to use in the evening.  I was wrong, it's a combination of floral and fruity scents which I find unique.  After some time, it turns powdery in scent, which I also love. Bulgari Omnia Coral Bulgari's new offering for Spring, Omnia Coral, is inspired by the shimmering hues of precious red coral.  It provides optimistic and feminine coral shades for Spring.  It is a radiant floral-fruity Eau de Toilette of tropical hibiscus and juicy pomegranate, reminiscent of summer, the sun, resplendent nature and far-off oceans. My first Bulgari scent is the Omnia Crystalline which was gifted to me by Mom. I love not only the classy packaging but the subtle fragrance that's suitable for those days when you want to smell great without being too overpowering.  Omnia Coral is another likable and pleasant fragrance. It's fruity, but not too fruity.  This is a great fragrance for summer, (but of course you can wear it anytime of the year) because it smells young and sweet, but not overly so. Last month, I got an invite for a Benetton perfume launch.  Aside from the location being in QC, it was also a Friday (hello, traffic!) but I just couldn't say No.  Well, aside from it's a good way to have a break after a week-long work, Benetton is another brand I've known and loved since way back. New  perfumes from Benetton If you haven't heard (or seen) Benetton Hot or Cold which were launched in 1997, you might have been living under a rock.
