FOTD: Orangey-Reds...

Image
Have you ever worn orange red-toned eyeshadows?  For a time, I stayed away from them because they can make the eyes (or worse, the face) look swollen and tired. When used properly, these eye shadows can still make you look fresh and fab without having to look clown-y or haggard. For today's FOTD post, I used orange red-toned eyeshadows for my lids and gave it a smokey look by blending it with a sheer pink eyeshadow: K-Palette Long Lasting Eyebrow L'oreal Eye Pencil In2it brow powder MAC Brow Set in Girl Boy MAC eyeshadows in Coppering + Firecracker (lid) and French Cuff (crease, tearduct and lower lash line) K-Palette Long Lasting Eyeliner K-Palette 1 Day Lash Perm Volume Curl Mascara Obagi ZO Oclipse Primer + Sunblock MaxFactor Face Finity Liquid Foundation in Sand Kanebo Mineral Powder Foundation  Sleek Contour Kit in Medium MAC Beauty Powder in True Romantic MUA Boom Lipstick in OMG Make sure to even out your skin, ...

Looks: Neutrals (for the nth time!)

TGIF! Are you excited for the weekend?  Me, sort of!  Well, I still have to work on Saturday but on Sunday, I'll be with my family for a trip up North!  Dig this, we'll leave early morning and hear mass in Manaoag then we'll go up to Baguio for...lunch! (laughs) And then we'll drive back home and on Monday, I'll be back to Manila.  Crazy, right? But I'm excited!  It's been a while since we've last gone to Baguio.  We don't have much time hence, we can't spend at least an overnight there, but since Manaoag is just a 2hr drive to Baguio, we might as well do it.   I'd be sleeping during the trip anyways so, I'll be fine...I think!? ^_^ By the way, I'm glad you like my previous look.  So now, we're back to my (boring) neutrals... My kind of festive makeup look...

Image
Hiyee, my loves!  It's Thursday, one more day to go and it's the weekend! I don't think my weekend's gonna be a real weekend though, as I'm pretty sure I'd still be working.  But nah, I'm not gonna complain!   I am not gonna complain...I am not gonna, complain... (ahh-hmmm..ahh-hmmm) ^_^ For today, let me just share with you a look I wore a few days before Christmas.  I know I should've worn festive colors instead, but hey, I still used Gold!  So it's still being festive, right!? (wink) Here it is: Revlon Photoready Correcting Primer Revlon Colorstay Whipped Cream makeup in Buff L'oreal True Match powder Shiseido Camellia compact blush Sleek face contour kit in Medium K-Palette Lasting Eyebrow In2it brow powder NYX HD eyebase MAC e/s in Amber Lights (lid), Parfait Amour (crease, lower lash lines), Black Tied (outer-V, lower lash lines) and Rice Paper (inner corner) K-Palette Lasting Eyeliner  Revlo...

Product Review: IN2IT 3 in 1 Cleansing Cream

Image
Remember weeks ago when I panicked because my HG remover, Ponds Cold Cream was out-of-stock at Galleria?  I had no choice but to get an alternative that I would think would work just the same, or maybe even better.   And this is what I got: IN2IT 3 in 1 Cleansing Cream Removes facial and eye makeup, tones and moisturizes There's another variant of this which is their cleansing water.  But since I was looking for something like my trusted cold cream, I decided to get this instead.   creamy and (almost) unscented now let's see if this works as good as my HG makeup remover: with makeup on: waterproof liner and mascara and a bit of foundation (yep, that's my skin peeling off!) all you need is this much, because the product is easy to spread and consistency is just creamy enough to be massaged all over the face after cleansing: foundation, face powder, brow powder, eyeshadow all removed BUT, there's still ...

Bare Escentuals "Devotion" EOTD...

Image
i can't remember the last time i used my Bare Escentuals eyeshadows, which is my first mmu e/s...and started my addiction with eyeshadows. i was digging into my makeup when i saw the sample pots and i figured why not use them for another EOTD. i remember using only one shade of e/s back then, i told you i used to feel uneasy when i'm wearing e/s... and yep, it's a different story now :) so here's my EOTD using a shade that i was fond of using as a lid wash to give my lids some color, BE eyeshadow in Devotion: MAC Carbon on the outer-V and crease to give it some definition and In2it Reflectin Liquid liner in Pink Pearl and of course, my baby MAC loves to be in front of the cam too!

"Happy" Friday look using MAC pigments

Image
I am a fan of loose mineral eyeshadows, but never tried using MAC pigments. I remembered using MAC pigments on one of my models some time ago but never on myself. I must say, i am missing a lot. Too Faced Shadow Insurance + MAC paint pot in Soft Ochre MAC pigment in Milk MAC pigment in Blue Steel In2it liners in Turquoise Glitter and Shocking Pink Pearl Revlon Colorstay liner in Blackest Black MUFE HD Liquid Foundation in 117 MAC MSF Natural in Light Medium MAC beauty powder in Rose Romance HD Finishing powder MAC lipstick in Peachstock topped with MAC lipglass in Pink Frost honestly, i find MAC pigments not that easy to use...maybe because the shimmers are quite bigger than the usual pigments that i use. so what i do is i tap my brush to get rid of some of the glitters and then spray my brush with Fix+ before patting it on my lids. but like what i've said, the colors are LOVE. now, i want more pigment from MAC. Uh-Oh!

Product Review: In2it Light Reflecting Liquid Eyeliner

Image
Product Description: Waterproof and long wearing Easy to apply and remove Dries in 60 seconds No bleeding or running No fragrance Nylon Hair brush Directions for usage: Apply by starting at the inner corner of the eyelid and draw outwards along the natural contour of the eyeline. applicator Shocking Pink Pearl, Turquoise Glitter, Kiwi I am a sucker for eyeliners. I've started using eyeliners some 7 years ago, and i must say i have mastered the "art" of lining my eyes. So i try to get new and "promising" liners available in the market. Lately, i've been using only my black and brown fluidlines from MAC. I am too lazy to mix my loose mineral pigments with a mixing medium or with my BE "weather everything" eye liner sealant so i haven't been able to use colored liners. and so when i came across this liners from In2it...i just can't pass on it. :) what i love: colors are so pigmented...really makes the eyes pop! easy to apply. but if you are ...
