I seriously can't remember the last time I posted a haul on my blog.  I still buy some stuff, though not as much as before, but I don't get too excited like I am right now with my recent purchase.    Me and the hubby were at the mall a few nights ago. We were on our way to the grocery when I decided to do a quick check at the Bobbi Brown counter. I've been itching to buy the Long-Wear Cream Shadow Stick in Vanilla for ages, but it's always OOS. I don't usually check out makeup counters when I'm with hubby (I think we all know why, hahah!) but I just had the feeling that the long-awaited Vanilla is finally available.  And it is!  I jumped with joy as soon as the SA told me there is still ONE remaining stock. OMG, the last one. I gotta have it!  I was already at the cashier when I glanced upon a box that says Mini Must Haves so while waiting for my turn to be served, I picked it up and checked what's inside.        Mini...

I've first posted about the Bobbi Brown Art Sticks a year ago and I did say that I'd try to get my hands on other shades. Well, I finally did!  But since I don't have a lot of extra moolah, I chose the shade that I think would suit me best (next to nudes!), Dusty Pink! Bobbi Brown Art Stick in Dusty Pink (AED 155) It does suit me, right? ^_^ I try my best to explore other shades than my usual nudes and pinks, but what can I do, I always gravitate towards these two shades.  I really wish I can be as adventurous with lippies as much as I am with my eye makeup. I guess I can call myself "chicken" when it comes to wearing bolder lip colors.   Just like my first Bobbi Brown Art Stick, this baby is moisturizing on the lips and stays put for a good 4-5 hours.   My eyes are still on the other Art Stick shades.  I wish we won't have to wait for another year to see another shade on this blog.  ^_^ Please like me on Fac...

Temperature was recorded at 43 °C yesterday, no wonder I still felt my cheeks burning when I went out of the office at half past 6pm.  And I heard, it can even rise up to 50 °C on some days. GAH! So this is how summer feels like here in my part of the world.   ^_^ Anyhoo, warmer (humid, even) days are no excuse to look less fabulous.   Dapat kahit mainit, maganda pa din! When I was still working, one thing that I always look forward to everyday is…not going to work, of course (laughs) , but putting on makeup. No matter how sleepy I am (because I would only get to sleep no more than 4hrs everyday), I always get perky when it's time to primp up.  It's like therapy for me.  I've always liked playing with my makeup. And I'm sure a lot of you can relate.   Now that I'm just at home most of the time (in short, domesticated, plain housewife LOL) , I don't get to play with my toys that much anymore. If they have feelings, I'm pretty sure they are getting  tampo already.  So I asked myself, why not wear makeup even when I'm just preparing dinner? Hahah. At least, I'll be more inspired to whip up a good meal when I feel pretty. Right!? I think one thing that I won't be able to change about me this year would be my love for makeup.  I started collecting makeup even when I still don't know how to use them properly.  (laughs) I don't know, but I just feel a lot better after shopping for makeup.  Ask me to choose between a new bag or clothes and makeup and I'll happily choose the latter every time.  Ask me what I want as a gift and I'll say makeup without blinking.  I'm not sure until when this "addiction" if you might want to call it like that would last, but what I know is that I love collecting makeup. Actually, it has been lessened a bit already because before, I would buy any makeup as long as it looks beautiful.  Now, I read reviews online or buy from brands which I know really produce good-quality makeup.  So I guess, I'm not as worse as before. ^_^ And what makes me even happier is when people around me support me, even though they would sometimes wonder wh...

Ask me what's the best lipstick out there for me and I'll say MAC Peachstock without batting an eyelash.  I know it's peachy nude in shade, but what can I do…I just love it to bits.  I can't remember how many tubes I've finished already.  I just love how it looks when worn alone or even when topped with a lipgloss.  It remains to be a universal shade…at least for me!  ^_^ Last year, I was introduced to MAC Please Me and so my Peachstock had to take the backseat.  I'm on my second tube and I'm 100% sure I'll be getting another tube even before this second one runs out.   As one of my New Year (beauty) Resolutions, I will try to be more adventurous when it comes to lipsticks.  Or at least try to sneak out of my comfort zone once in a while.
