my Dreamworld EOTN...

Image
i had these lot of Dreamworld eyeshadow samples for quite sometime, but i haven't tried them until now. they look shimmery and i think it would be better to foil them so colors would really pop, but heck, i'm allergic to my homemade mixing medium so i have no other choice but to apply them dry (which i always do, so i don't mind) sorry for not having a face shot...still breaking out terribly :( (just when i need to be free from zits...grr!) used: Modelco Brow kit in Dark, UDPP topped with MAC PP in Soft Ochre, Dreamworld e/s in Gargoyle on the inner half of the lid, Dreamworld e/s in Love's Aura on the outer half of the lid and outer crease, Everyday minerals e/s in Smokey used as a liner on the upper lash lines (applied wet using Visine), Joppa minerals e/s in Rawsilk applied under the brow bones to highlight and L'oreal Lash Architect mascara in Black. so now i was able to find a way to have my MAC PP work with my UDPP. I apply it in a dabbing motion using with...

my disco-ball look AKA shining-shimmering eotd/fotd...

wahahhaa...yep, i overloaded on shimmery pigments and i even made use of an illuminizing blush and a wrong shade of foundation? LOL...how stupid talaga. ehhehe... anyways, just for kicks.... used: Modelco Browkit in Dark, UDPP applied all over lids topped with MAC paintpot in Soft Ochre, Jlynne satin pearls e/s in Mokuren applied wet on the inner lid and lower inner lash line and Mikage (both e/s from Jlynne's Japanese Garden collection) applied wet from middle lid up to the outer-V and also just above the crease and on the lower outer lash line, MAC e/s in Ricepaper used as highlighter just below the browbones, L'oreal Lash Architect Mascara in Black and now for the disco ball FOTD: used: Smashbox Photofinish Light primer all over face, Joppa silk radiance in Fair Linen, TBS Baked Shimmer All-Over Illuminator in Pink Nuance on the cheeks, Smashbox lipstick in Sweet topped with MAC lipglass in 2N. yep, i know...the foundation is too light for me. but heck, this isn't the fi...

another joppa minerals eotn/fotn..

i've been using my joppa minerals a lot lately...i want to sample all the shades i got from their 45-pc sample baggy set so i can order full pots soon! i love their shades and texture. and this is the first mmu that i was able to foil successfully. their colors are not that loud, though i love loud shades, i simply heart the way they make my eyes more tamed even though i am not using neutrals. :) so here's my attempt-to-look-sweet eotd/fotd: used: joppa e/s in Amanda on the inner half of the lid, joppa e/s in Anastasia on the outer half of the lid, crease and outer-V, joppa e/s in Pearl under the browbone, EDM e/s in purple shade used as liner (with BE weather everything eye-sealant, MUFE Mat Velvet Liquid foundie, Joppa blush in Raspberry Ice, Fasio 3D Mascara in Brown, Nivea lip balm in Rose topped with MAC gellee in Dewy Jube. too bad, i didn't get foundation samples from Joppa...but i will, as soon as i've decided what e/s shades to get in full pots. :)

my V-day EOTN/FOTN using JOPPA minerals and Skinfood Gingko Blemish Balm...

Image
again, using my recently faved Joppa Minerals e/s, here's my eotd for Valentines Day: used: Joppa Minerals e/s in Majestic on the inner lids, Joppa Minerals e/s in Hazel on the outer lids, outer-V and a bit on the crease, Modelco Brow Kit, 3D Fasio Mascara in Brown, Artdeco e/s in shade #44 under the brow bones for highlight and Shu Uemura Mark Concealer in 7YR Medium Light on the undereyes topped with OM Saffron Concealer used : Skinfood Gingko Blemish Balm in Shade #1 set with MAC Blot Powder in Medium, Red Earth blush in Tender Love, BE Bisque for spot-concealing and Smashbox lipstick in Sweet topped with Mac gellee in Dewy Jube as for the blemish balm which i've used as a foundation, can say that it has a smooth texture, can easily be applied and coverage is good, though i still had to use a separate concealer for my undereyes and blemishes. But yes, i do agree with the others who say that it gives out a healthy glow. It actually reminds me of my Laura Mercier tinted mois...

my EOTN/FOTN using joppa and taylormade minerals...

Image
it's been a while since i got my joppa minerals e/s as well my sample foundies from Taylormade but i haven't got the chance to try them...until today. used: Modelco Brow Kit in Dark, Joppa e/s in Kayla as base applied wet from the lash line up to brow bone, Joppa e/s in Rainforest applied wet from lash line up to the crease and outer-V, Loreal Lash Architect Mascara in Black, Penshoppe eyeliner applied on the lower lash lines. used: Smashbox Photofinish Light as primer, Taylormade foundation in Ophelia, TFS Black Label Blusher in Pink, Smashbox lipstick in Sweet, OM Yellow Saffron Concealer for the undereyes and BE Concealer in Bisque for my blemishes (argggh!) I love the texture of Joppa Minerals. Unlike other mmu e/s, i didn't have a hard time applying them wet. Annielise taught me another way to "foil" eye pigments and that is to wipe my brush with a wet wipe before getting some pigments. With the other mmu pigments, i find it hard to apply them wet...they st...

my joppa minerals loot...

i thought i am done ordering e/s samples from other mmu brands...i was so wrong! weeks ago, i've read that they are selling e/s and blushes/bronzer samples for such a great price that i wasn't able to resist! imagine $19 for 45 e/s samples and $8 for blushes/bronzers samples? their customer service is also great and i got my package in less than 2 weeks! so everybody, here's my loot from JOPPA minerals : i preferred to get my items in the province and have my mom send them to me here in Manila since i'm reading a lot of complaints about the people in the PO here in makati. here's the blushes/bronzers samples: i am not a fan of bronzers, in fact with the samples i got, there's only a few that i like. but what the heck, i still love collecting MMUs! (geesh, this is really a disease already) and here's the eyeshadow samples: i can say that they have pretty shades...and i love collecting eye pigments the most! they even threw in a couple of foundation samples...
