my-supposed-to-be Happy Friday look...

Image
used: AWG e/s in Innovative MAC e/s in Nocturnelle MAC Penultimate liner in Rapid Black Shiseido Eye Lash primer (yeah, stupid me forgot to apply my mascara LOL) love my lipcolor! RAWR! nope, i didn't wear that to work...hehehe. I just played with my 66-lip color palette from Coastalscents and this blue intrigued me. I had to apply concealer first to neutralize my natural lip color so the blue would really show up. hmmm, i'm getting bored to death so i might probably wear a lipcolor like this one of these days. =)

the long wait's over....

Product Review: Coastalscents Gel Liner...

Image
weeks ago, i just realized that i am running out of my MAC fluidline in Blacktrack...and yeah, it is one of my favorite items from dear MAC. but i am sure none of you would blame me for trying to look for alternatives, right? besides, everybody would love to be able to save a couple of more moolah so you can buy more...lol! so i've read that Coastalscents has finally come up with Gel Liners...priced at $6.95, and a lot of raves that it works just like MAC (some even say it's better) made me decide to get 2 out of their 10 available shades: my CS gel liners in Platinum and True Black what i love about it is that it is creamy (creamier than MAC, actually) and it glides on really smoothly. if you have watched my tutorial on how to line your eyes , you'd see how easy it is to apply it on the lids. and on my uber oily lids, it stays on the whole day. it doesn't dry out too fast as well, so if you happen to apply it wrong, it's so easy to wipe it away. but once it drie...

loots!

i've been lemming to get some items from Artdeco, most especially their mineral foundation. and finally, i was able to get one...and also their silk powder which claims to really help in keeping your foundation stay put. hmmm, i'm gonna try that one soon and of course, post my review. here's my artdeco loot: fixing powder...will try this one out soon and watch out for my review :) mineral foundation, i got really interested in this. they have another one like that of L'oreal (with a brush) but i wasn't able to find a shade there so i got this one instead. besides, i have lots of brushes for mineral foundation use. lipgloss in #43...got this one because of Phoebe's reco :) my freebie...love the color. it's grayish-green... i also decided to get this: my hair is getting longer...and i just hate when i get fly-aways. and i can also use this to my clients, right? :) and here's a gift from Shen : thanks shen! and now, i'm lemming to get some pigment...

trying out my CS neutral palette...

Image
as promised, here's some swatches of my CS neutral palette: and of course, i tried it out too! my say on this palette: color payoff is really great...and goes on smoothly on the lids. the palette has a wide range of colors, from beiges to taupes to browns to even darker shades of browns and even black! it is really a useful palette for those who heart neutrals (i don't, but i seriously need to practice more on this look tee-hee). who knows, i might just love neutrals as well :) thumbs up for this palette...so for those who doesnt have it yet...go get yours now! again, thanks PAU!
