last year was my sister's JS prom (she's a junior then) and i had to let her look for somebody to do her makeup since i have a gig with Adidas that day. i thought all's well...but when i got home the following weekend and saw her pics, i told myself "I will NEVER let anybody do her makeup (on special events like this) ever again!" i felt so guilty, that i was busy making other people beautiful that day instead of making sure that my sister would look fab and beautiful on her promenade. so this year, when i was told that she'll be having her JS prom on a weekday, i decided to take a leave and make her beautiful myself. my sister wants to have her eyes emphasized and the rest of her face simple. she even told me to make her look like a fairy sans anything avant-garde and what's her term, again...ah, ethereal. yeah, my sis is one helluva demanding client! oh yeah, she'd kill me for posting her "BEFORE" pic and my sis after: EYES: UDPP PAC br...

and here's my promise to come up with a "colored" eyemakeup tutorial...not that colorful, though. at least, it's not neutral. :) the colors i've used for my eye makeup: all colors from my 120-color Manly palette except for #4 which is MAC Shroom 1. Using MAC 239, apply color #1 on the entire lid. Then using a big blending brush (MAC 224) blend the edges to get rid of the harsh line: 2. Using MAC 217, apply color #2 on top of #1. 3. Using a Q-tip, fix the shape of the eyelid color...just in case you mess up, like me. lol 4. Using a smaller blending brush like MAC 222, apply color #3 on the outer-V then blend... 5. Using another shader brush, apply color #4 as highlight. I originally used MAC Gorgeous Gold but found it too yellow as a highlight...so i changed it to Shroom 6. Apply liner on the upper lashlines. I've used MAC Penultimate liner. I think i really messed up with my line here...see, it's wonky! 7. Apply black liner on the waterline and...

i know i was supposed to give you a colorful, or at least something different from what i've been wearing from Monday-Thursday...but today, i just reached for my Heatherette Trio palette and opted for a subtle look. i dunno, but aside from feeling lazy today...i feel so heavy (yeah, i know i've gained weight..but i don't mean that! lol) and restless. i am worrying too much about a lot of things again....arrrgh! i need a vacation! too much overtime in the office and lack of sleep maybe the culprits...i think i'm gonna pop a few sleeping pills and sleep the entire weekend! but i guess i am one unlucky biatch tonight for i missed the last trip of the bus....so here i am, passing time in the office and waiting for the first trip at 3am. sniff.. anyways, here's my look.
