A few days to go and it's Christmas! It's my first time to celebrate Christmas away from my family, so I'm not really in a very festive mood.  But it'll be my first time to celebrate Christmas with the hubby after so many years so that would make up for it.  Hopefully next year, we'll be home for the holidays.  Iba talaga ang Pasko sa Pinas (Christmas is really different in the Philippines), and I'm sure kabayans will totally agree with me on that! I'm also sure that by now, you're (almost) done with your gift shopping so I won't be posting about gift ideas anymore.  Instead, I'll be giving you ideas on what makeup to wear for the parties you'd be attending this holiday season.  And for today, let's make those brown eyes pop more with this Green and Gold combo...

Emerald is the color for the year 2013...and lucky me, it's my birthstone too!  Aside from that, green definitely tops my list when it comes to eyeshadows as it really brings out my brown eyes.     So here's my latest look using greens... Hi, my dearies!  Sorry for not posting as much these past few weeks.  Work has been keeping me really busy (again) and might not change even until the holidays are over (ugh)!  But yeah, I am not complaining (tryiiinnnggg!) as this means more moolah to spend after the holidays.. LoL! For the meantime, let me share with you this easy shimmery-green look that might come in handy for your upcoming holiday events: it's easy: 1) just pat any green (shimmery if you want it bongga and have the party-party feeling) eyeshadow over the entire lid area 2) using a fluffy blending brush, blend the edges to get rid of the harsh lines and 3) sweep a bit of matte black e/s on the lower lid then blend upwards 4) line your eyes, wing it if you like 5) curl those lashes and apply 2 coats of your favorite mascara So what do you think?  I was supposed to just use a single shade of eyeshadow but wth, a smokey eye look is a lot better.  By the way, get ready with ...

I was digging into my makeup stuff when I saw my MAC Twists of Tartan eyeshadow palette which was given to be by my MIL some time ago.  I felt kinda guilty for I haven't used that palette ever since. That's one reason why I decided to stop buying makeup,  I don't think I'd be able to finish everything! So I created a look and came up with this: And then I browsed thru my all posts and looked for my blog post about this palette...and guess what, the look I created is the same (almost!) with the one I created more than a year ago . Here's another attempt on a colored-EOTD (as promised to be done everyday, if possible LOL!) while still trying to be on time for work: Apply crease color (MAC Paradisco) using a big fluffy e/s brush (MAC 224) and then pat another shade on the lower lid (MAC Shimmermoss). Lately, I've been playing with colors again and been trying to get back my makeup mojo. I've been backreading my previous posts and have seen my colorful looks. it's been a while since I last posted an FOTD. Actually,i haven't been wearing much makeup lately. I rarely get to wear colorful e/s at work, just a liner on top of a frosty beige lid wash. I guess today's a bit special since I decided to wake up earlier to do my makeup.
