Rimmel Lasting Finish 25HR Liquid and Powder Foundation

Opps, I did it again...I went MIA in updating this blog for weeks.  I know, I know...I've been promising that I would try to update more often but I just keep on breaking that promise.  It's just that a lot have been going on and no matter how hard I try, I keep on losing my focus. I've been worrying too much lately about things and I admit, sometimes I find myself wondering if it's still worth it to keep going on or if it's better to just let go, and accept that maybe, some things aren't just meant for me after all. I'm just human, I also get tired and I tend to lose hope too.   Anyway, I am sorry for messing up your Monday with my kadramahan .  I just need to let some of these out, or else I'd go crazy.  I'm not sure if you still read my full blog entry or you just scan through the post, but if you do and you get to read these lines, please say a little prayer for me.  I really appreciate it, most especially during these times that I ki...

Woohoo, it's a Thursday once again! (happy dance) I can't wait for this day to be over and off to another great weekend I go.  The husband's back from a short  trip to PH and since it was our 257th monthsarry yesterday,  (hahaha, oh yes we still count!) we're going out for a movie date tonight. Have you watched Fast and the Furious 7 already? I heard it's good. I'm excited to see it and of course, eat my favourite movie snack...nachos with loads of jalapeño and cheese!  It's gonna be a pig-out weekend once again!  Also, we'd be going back to Ras Al Khaimah tomorrow for a short weekend getaway with some friends.   Yahooooo! ^_^ And so before I lose myself from thinking too much about this weekend (and food), let me share with you another review. This time it's gonna be about this foundation that has been my favourite for a few months now. Last year, I've blogged about the Sephora 10hr Perfect Wear Foundation and...

Oh, SHIT!  Before you hate me for cursing, it just means S o H appy I t's T hursday! ^_^ And that means, in a matter of hours, it's the start of the weekend in this part of the world.  I've been back to work for more than a month now and honestly, I still get surprised when my colleagues would bid me a happy weekend on a Thursday and sometimes, I'd still say "See you on Monday!" in return. (laughs) Anyway, for today I'd be telling you about my current favourite foundation: Sephora 10hr Wear Perfection Foundation A foundation with build able coverage that instantly conceals blemishes with an invisible, flawless finish.  It promises a natural, beautiful finish that blends with the skin tone and serves as a second-skin that adapts to all the movements of the skin for optimum comfort all day. Product Review: Revlon Nearly Naked Liquid Foundation and Pressed Powder...

Image
I was still in Manila when I first read about this Nearly Naked line from Revlon.  I hoped and prayed that it becomes available because I was really itching to try it.  I know I have a lot of foundations/powders already..but, its promise of natural-looking makeup is just so hard to ignore.  Who doesn't want that anyway? And one more thing...a girl can never have too much makeup, right? So what the heck, I am so gonna get it once it becomes available was what I told myself.  I left mid-August, and still no signs of Revlon Nearly Naked.  Disappointed?  A bit.  But not for long.  Because I was on my way to the US...and that's where the reviews about this new line are coming from. Yey! I went straight to the Revlon section on my very first trip to the CVS pharmacy near our hotel.  I was that excited! REVLON Nearly Naked Makeup (Liquid Foundation) and Pressed Powder Both products, according to Revlon, assures you of natural-lo...

Are you a fan of loose mineral makeup foundation? If you are but you get turned-off with the messy application, then pressed mineral makeup is your best bet.  They provide the same benefits like their loose counterparts (maybe even more) sans the hassle of cleaning up your desk or your clothes with makeup fallouts after. Product Review: Naturactor Cover Face

Image
My good friend Sol of Digitaltraincase knows that I am a foundation/concealer whore that when she finally has Naturactor products available, she asked me to drop by her store and check them out.  I was in the middle of a lot of things that time - moving out, last days at work and running last minute errands before I go home to Bataan, so I had to push it back a little.  But of course, new, and not to mention highly-raved products like this shouldn't be missed.  So just a day before I left Manila, me and my fellow makeup junkies made sure that we drop by Manila's very own version of Sephora, the Digitaltraincase store. ^_^ Here's a few snaps inside the store: see some of your faves? and look who came down from his afternoon siesta to join us... Lucas Papaw, errr I mean Miguel! ^_^ I call him Lucas Papaw because back when Sol and Papa P were still thinking of a name, I couldn't think of anything.  And that time, Lucas Papaw is one of ...

Product Review: Shiseido Sun Protection Liquid Foundation...

Image
Hi, my loves!  How's the weekend?  In a few more hours, it's Monday once again.  It sucksI know, but it's something we have to do to pay the bills! (laughs)  For today I wanna share with you this great product I've been using again lately now that our weather's a lot more confused than usual.  It's usually scorching hot in the morning until noon, but it tends to rain in the later afternoon.  Whenever I use it, I know my skin looks good, aside from being protected from the sun.  And even if it rains, my skin would still look okay and I don't have to worry about my makeup melting away. Shiseido's Sun Protection Liquid foundation is broad-spectrum to protect against the harmful rays of the sun. The just-applied looking matte finish is non-transferring which is resistant against perspiration, water and oil. See how harassed the packaging looks?  It's because I've been using it mostly on beach and out-of-town trips.   ...
