And I'm back for another Holiday Makeup Look!  I know this isn't the first time you'd see a smokey gold makeup look from me but hey, I've used gold glitters this time…it does make it different, right!? Right!? Please say right. I beg you. ^_^ Anyway, here's the look: I was supposed to do a video tutorial for this one but if I did, this post won't make it this year…maybe after a couple of months!  Geesh, I have a number of videos I've been meaning to edit but procrastination always gets the best of me.  So I hope a photo tutorial would do for now...

A few days to go and it's Christmas! It's my first time to celebrate Christmas away from my family, so I'm not really in a very festive mood.  But it'll be my first time to celebrate Christmas with the hubby after so many years so that would make up for it.  Hopefully next year, we'll be home for the holidays.  Iba talaga ang Pasko sa Pinas (Christmas is really different in the Philippines), and I'm sure kabayans will totally agree with me on that! Weee!! Hello, first Friday of April! A month to go and it's gonna be my 25th birthday! Opps, don't you dare burst my bubble...I am turning 25, period! ^_^ Anyway, I realized that it's been a while since I last posted an FOTD.  So here's a look I did a couple of days ago.  I've finally used my MAC Archie liner in Petrol Blue after weeks of trying not to...hahaha, I didn't want to use it because I don't want to sharpen the cute  little thing!   But I did.  Well, it's just too pretty...it's the perfect dark navy liner with shimmers.  Really intense pigmentation and glides on like silk.  I'm just sort of worried that this won't last me too long because with it's soft, creamy texture, I would always have to sharpen it after each use.  I was afraid that it might smudge on me but surprisingly, it didn't.   K-Palette Long Lasting Eyebrow L'oreal eyepencil Majolica Majorca Lash and Brow Colorist  UDPP Urba...

TGIF! Are you excited for the weekend?  Me, sort of!  Well, I still have to work on Saturday but on Sunday, I'll be with my family for a trip up North!  Dig this, we'll leave early morning and hear mass in Manaoag then we'll go up to Baguio for...lunch! How's Monday treating you so far?  In as much as I wanted to take it easy, I just can't!  Tasks are piling up...I now feel like I'm swimming in a pool of things to do.  ^_* But nope, I am not complaining!  Just venting out. For today, let me give you a sample look that's said to be "IN" for 2013...the colored eyeliners!  Instead of using it on my upper lash lines, I used it on my lower...to sort of give my neutral look a bit of pop!   In here, I used my Milani liner in Aqua to balance the look, I kept the rest of my face simple. So what do you think, is this something you'd try?  Give it a go, 2013 is all about change (at least for me!)...It won't hurt to give it a try anyway. ^_^ Tata! Hi, my dearies!  Sorry for not posting as much these past few weeks.  Work has been keeping me really busy (again) and might not change even until the holidays are over (ugh)!  But yeah, I am not complaining (tryiiinnnggg!) as this means more moolah to spend after the holidays.. LoL! For the meantime, let me share with you this easy shimmery-green look that might come in handy for your upcoming holiday events: it's easy: 1) just pat any green (shimmery if you want it bongga and have the party-party feeling) eyeshadow over the entire lid area 2) using a fluffy blending brush, blend the edges to get rid of the harsh lines and 3) sweep a bit of matte black e/s on the lower lid then blend upwards 4) line your eyes, wing it if you like 5) curl those lashes and apply 2 coats of your favorite mascara So what do you think?  I was supposed to just use a single shade of eyeshadow but wth, a smokey eye look is a lot better.  By the way, get ready with ...

No, this isn't about flying. (laughs)  I just want to show you this eyeliner style that I've been wearing for the past few days.  I think this is called an open-winged eyeliner. Not sure though, so don't take my word for it!   ^_^ So anyways, by now I am pretty sure you are already used to my winged liner looks.  Honestly, I can say that it suits me.  I've tried doing the simple, natural way by lining close to the lash lines and without any wing.  But no, it doesn't suit me.  I have big cheeks and if I do the natural way, it just makes me look plump-ier. Doing the winged liner lifts my eyes, making it look wider giving the illusion of narrower face.  Looking back, I realized that I've been doing the winged look ever since I started lining my eyes.  But of course, it was less dramatic by only extending the line and not really doing the winged, lift look. I've always loved Bobbi Brown because of their beautiful eyeshadows, mostly neutrals, that are so easy to use on it's own or blend with other colors.  My most favorite palette, and probably the most travel-friendly palette that I have is their Pretty in a Box.  It has eyeshadows and pans of their beautiful pot rouges that can be used both on the cheeks and on the lips.  It's actually my survival kit, and I bring it mostly on my trips when I don't want to bring too much abubots.  Lately, I got another Bobbi to Go palette as a gift.  I remember my first one which is a small square palette of 4 beautiful eyeshadows.  I wonder where it is now.  But no worries, I have a new one!  Thanks to our friends from Bobbi Brown PH!
