Product Review: MakeUp Forever Waterproof Eyebrow Corrector

Image
Waterproof Eyebrow Corrector What it is: A waterproof eyebrow defining cream in a tube. What it is formulated to do: Fills, defines, and intensifies brows with natural-looking, stay-put color. What else you need to know: The result remains flawless throughout the day and holds up under all conditions (water, heat, etc). Size: 0.16 oz Use very sparingly. Apply then blend with slanted Eyebrow Brush to obtain a very natural line. For very precise corrections, use a very fine-tipped brush, such as Eyeliner Brush. Professional Tips: To change the color of your lashes, brush them with a mascara brush or lash comb soaked in Waterproof Eyebrow Corrector. It is also perfect for coloring graying sideburns and moustaches. For quite a long time now, i've been using my HG brow gel from MAC...MAC brow set in Girl Boy. I use it on top of my brow powder...and it does give me that light brown color on my brows which is near to my hair color. But the extra time to line my brows using a brow pow...

"Happy" Friday look using MAC pigments

Image
I am a fan of loose mineral eyeshadows, but never tried using MAC pigments. I remembered using MAC pigments on one of my models some time ago but never on myself. I must say, i am missing a lot. Too Faced Shadow Insurance + MAC paint pot in Soft Ochre MAC pigment in Milk MAC pigment in Blue Steel In2it liners in Turquoise Glitter and Shocking Pink Pearl Revlon Colorstay liner in Blackest Black MUFE HD Liquid Foundation in 117 MAC MSF Natural in Light Medium MAC beauty powder in Rose Romance HD Finishing powder MAC lipstick in Peachstock topped with MAC lipglass in Pink Frost honestly, i find MAC pigments not that easy to use...maybe because the shimmers are quite bigger than the usual pigments that i use. so what i do is i tap my brush to get rid of some of the glitters and then spray my brush with Fix+ before patting it on my lids. but like what i've said, the colors are LOVE. now, i want more pigment from MAC. Uh-Oh!

Product Review: MUFE High Definition Liquid Foundation

Image
I know i'm sort of late in doing a review for this product...but hey, it's better late than never, right!? :) the first time i started reading about MUFE's HD makeup line , i can't stop myself from wishing that i get to have my grubby hands on them. i remember seeing the loose powder and the foundation from MUFE Shangrila, but i ended up getting only the loose powder because i have MAC SFF back then (was still starting with makeup school). i can still remember (almost) harassing the SAs there because they told me that they don't have the price for it yet since the product has just arrived. after a series of calls, they finally let me buy the powder. and yeah, i was STUPID for not buying the foundation too! when reviews started appearing on different blogsites, i just can't stop blaming myself for not getting one. i called MUFE and told me that like the HD powder, the foundation too has been OOS for months. ACCCCK! but an angel might have heard me again....

an extra "OMPH" on a regular day...

Image
okay, since i am wearing almost the same shades of eyeshadows lately, i decided to give it a little more "omph." so what's this "omph" i'm talking about? FALSIES! yep...i decided to wear falsies today. i am not really into falsies since my eyes tend to look sleepy whenever i wear them, most especially the full sized ones. good thing, i've found these "XLH" falsies from The Face Shop. I first saw them on Phoebe and it really looked natural. I then bought some, not for personal use, but for my clients. hehehhee..and when i saw how natural and fab their lashes became after the falsies, that's the time i decided to hoard them from the store. it's always OOS, good thing i got to purchase 3...and will buy more next time. The XLH lashes from The Face Shop kinda looks like the MAC HK lashes (IMHO). * thanks to Temptalia.com for the image (they look natural, no?) a gloomy day...

Image
Xmas is fast approaching...and i must admit, i am feeling kinda sad about it. Not because of the upcoming expenses (LOL) but because this would be the first time that i'd be celebrating the holidays without X. (sigh) so for my Happy Friday look, i decided to go for purples. but i didn't do a smokey eye look...i should've since i am feeling gloomy, but i didn't for i don't want people in the office asking me again why i look so "dark." (grin) EYES: PAC Brow kit in Dark topped with MAC Girl Boy UDPP MAC e/s in Poison Pen on the inner 2/3, MAC e/s in Nocturnelle on the outer 1/3, outer-V and outer crease and Stila Smudge pot in Black on the upper lash lines Blinc Mascara in Black MUFE Aqua Eyes liner in Black on the waterlines FACE: Smashbox Photofinish light MUFE HD Liquid Foundation in 117 topped with MAC MSF in Light Medium and MUFE HD Finishing Powder MAC Sculpt and Shape for contouring MAC Blush in Dainty LIPS: Smashbox l/s in Sweet so tell me, was i a...

my Urban Decay (Book of Shadows) EOTD...

eversince i got my Urban Decay Book of Shadows (sounds very witchy, no?) palette, i've been using it almost everyday. lately, i've been painting my lids with just one color then line my lashlines with a black liner...and that's it! and the colors from the palette are all beautiful that one won't need to use a lot of colors. for my EOTD last monday, i used my palette again...and yeah, still neutrals.
