Midnight Magic look...

Image
i've been meaning to revisit my love for mineral eyeshadows...it sparked my love for eyemakeup anyways, but lack of time in the morning stops me each time i'd try. so this weekend, when i had to meet mom for breakfast and get my loots from her...i had more time to reach out for my long-forgotten mmu e/s and play. but of course, i still have to be early for breakfast. mom would kill me if i'd be late. Practical Magic from MEOW and Midnight (MAC Carbon dupe, imho) from Sweetscents PAC Brow kit UDPP MMU e/s in Practical Magic and Midnight MAC Blacktrack Shiseido MM Lash Expander (note: e/s applied wet) Nars Primer MAC SS concealer in NW20 Skinfood Salmon Brightening powder Maybelline Loose Mineral Foundation in Buff MAC Blush in Dainty MUFE HD Loose Finishing powder NYX lipgloss in Beige i miss playing with my mineral makeup...i still have tons but good thing they don't have expiration dates.

Product Review: Skinfood Salmon Dark Circle Powder

Image
An instant brightening powder, it is rich in omega-3 fatty acid, vitamins A & E with Nano-coating, to lighten dark eye circles. Instruction: Apply after Salmon Dark Circle Concealer. Apply an appropriate amount of powder around the eyes with the enclosed puff, as well as on skin where brightening is needed. i told you, i won't stop til i get the entire Salmon line from Skinfood! unfortunately, after a month, i was only able to get myself the dark circle powder. two more items to go...whew! what i like: cute packaging. i must admit, i am such a sucker for cute packaging...this is the first thing that i get to notice, so when a promising item has a "blah" packaging, i tend to ignore it unless i get to read good reviews. yep, kinda judgmental when it comes to product packaging (don't be like me! hahaha) brightening. unlike other undereye setting powders which tend to give you a flat look, this one gives the illusion of bright undereyes. and this means, more r...

Lemming: Skinfood's Salmon Eye care line

Image
do you love salmon? well, i do! in fact, i can finish a whole lot of salmon sashimi at any japanese resto! while others get all freaked out just by the thought of eating raw fish, i get excited :) then i learned that salmon actually helps in diminishing those darn undereye circles that most of us have. shucks, had i known this earlier...i would've make sure to include salmon in my diet everyday. LOL! yep, salmon aids in getting rid of those pesky dark eye circles. and since most, if not all of us, can't include salmon in our everyday diet, SKINFOOD released their salmon eye care line to make sure that people get their daily dose of salmon everyday. how to spend valentines day without a date?

Image
what could be worse than working on a graveyard shift and you have no eff-ing date!? oh well...i can't remember a single valentines day in my life when i got to celebrate it like everybody else does. you know, candlelight dinners, a romantic walk in the park holding hands with somebody, stargazing, or a surprise dinner prepared by your partner...the works! sad to say, it's just like an ordinary day for me....but unlike any other ordinary days, this is one day when you get stares from people when they see you dining out or watching a movie or just being alone. it's like you have this disease or something that makes you different from the others and it's as if they would want to give you a pat on the back and say "you poor thing..." hehehe..don't take me wrong. i am not being bitter...i actually got used to it already. so today, after my shift (waited for a few more hours, actually) i went to Smart Wireless Center with Odette to pay for my internet subscript...
