Just a quick post on two of the makeup looks I came up with last week: Now that I've been wearing a lot of colorful looks lately, I suddenly miss my neutrals.  Let's see what looks I'll come up with this week. It's Monday and it's a holiday, but not for us.  So for those who are on a holiday today, don't mind us who are still working today while you are enjoying yourselves.   No, I am not being bitter.  HMP! Just kidding! Take care everyone!

Casual OOTD...

Image
as you all know, I'm a jeans/shirt kind of girl. on days that i know i'd be walking around a lot, or won't be having any meetings at work... i'd rather be in jeans, shirt and my trusty Melissa shoes : besides, my colleagues would throw jokes on me whenever i'm wearing a dress or a skirt. guys would ask me if i'll be watching a movie after work, or a date. geesh, what's with dresses/skirts got to do with watching a movie? ^_^ and here's another easy look on days that when I'm in a hurry (but still late) coming to work: a single shade of mineral eyeshadow, eyeliner and mascara for an easy eye makeup i take a lot of time doing my eye makeup when I'm blending multiple colors. using a single shade of mineral eyeshadow gives the illusion of using a number of colors and saves me a lot of time. i still wish i can go out without makeup on....it'll definitely save me a LOT of time and my ass from losing my job for coming in to work late ALL THE TI...

Who says you can't wear Silver and Black for work???

Image
yes ladies, i'm talking about makeup here ^_^ so yeah, whoever said that is definitely nuts. of course, you can still wear such colors for a daytime job. you just need to go easy on packing the color so it won't go TOO dark. MAC e/s in Elektra (lid and a bit heavier on the crease), Carbon (outer-V and emphasized the crease) and Wedge (crease, then topped with the other two colors) uhm, okay..honestly, 'twas just one of those days when I can't really decide what to wear...LOL! and i ended up with this look. it doesn't look that bad anyway, right? and yes, I call it one of my confused eye makeup looks! (wink) excuse those nasty bumps on my cheek... oh yes, that's Sally Hansen's Jumpin' Jade! oh darn, i do look constipated! tata!

Twice Baked!

Image
nope, this isn't a food post...but a look i came up with using UD Book of Shadows vol. 2 which was given to me by Sol. LOL! alright, i'm kiddin' she's just too nice to let me borrow this since i wasn't able to get myself one. ARGH! surprisingly, i was able to come up with a boring neutral look for my first attempt in using it: PAC browkit UDPP UD e/s in YDK and Twice Baked, a bit of Perversion Maybelline Cat Eyes mascara MAC liner in Smoldering MAC fluidline in Blacktrack Smashbox Photofinish primer MAC SS concealer in NW20 MAC Select Cover in NW20 Revlon Colorstay in Buff MAC SF Powder in NC20 Maybelline blush in Watermelon Monave foundation concealer in Caroline Shu Uemura Matte Loose powder NYX l/s in Fig see those blemishes? they are so horrible that i intentionally loaded up on concealer, it did blend on my skin after anyways. i really am beginning to be into neutrals these days...it's a no-brainer look to come up with when you're in a hurry!

Looks using the NYX Brown Eyes palette...

Image
for two consecutive days, i've been reaching out for my most recent loot from NYX. i love the colors, and the endless combination of looks one can come up with. i can definitely save up space in my luggage when i'm out on a trip... NYX Brown Eyes palette Gold - Brown Purple - Yellow * MAC Carbon on the outer-V for definition do you have this palette? if so, what are the combinations that you were able to come up with? if not, will be getting this palette? tata!

sorry for the lack of updates...(again!) i haven't been blogging lately since i am always running out of time when i get home. not to mention i am breaking out so bad that i just got too lazy to take pics and post them here. i really hate my skin condition nowadays, the lack of sleep is finally taking its toll on me. i think i am going back to taking up Diane35 (birth control pills) to help me with my acne problem...and yeah, i am also going back to the only skin regimen that (REALLY) works on me...OBAGI. anyways, here are just a few of previous looks i made. excuse me for the pimples and rough skin...argh! brown-black smokey eyes using NYX eyeshadow pencil and MAC carbon, espresso gold-brown eyes using MAC eyeshadows revisiting my love for mineral eyeshadows (aromaleigh): still from Aromaleigh: life's been busy these past weeks...and busier the following weeks because of parties i need to attend for the holidays. i can say i have my social life back! heheheh. i...

my Hot Pink + brown office EOTD...

Image
okay, hush ladies...hush. i know the title made you raise your brows...and think wth made me wear hot pink for office!? don't worry, i was able to tone it down a bit by pairing it with a soft brown. so it didn't look that HOT and flirty for office :) i used these 4 lovely colors from my 120 eye color palette from Manly 120 eye color palette MUFE Brow corrector in 0 TFSI + Soft Ochre paintpot Maybelline Cat Eyes mascara MAC fluidline in Dipdown The Face Shop Span face primer Lancome Macquiliquide UV Infinite foundation in 02 MUFE HD Finishing powder MAC Sculpt and Shape MAC blush in Rose Romance MAC Creme Cup lipstick so, who says you can't wear something HOT in the office? Tutorial: Neutrals using loose minerals...

Image
I've been neglecting the very first reason why i fell inlove with makeup...my mineral loose eyeshadows! So, for this tutorial, i used my MAD and MEOW mineral eyeshadows. 1. MAD Sand Dune 2. MEOW Modern Eyes in Fur Flyin' 3. MAC e/s in Espresso 1. Start with priming your eyelids. I've been using my Too Faced Shadow Insurance topped with MAC paintpot in Soft Ochre and it works just like my UDPP :) 2. Using a flat shader brush (MAC 239), pat MAD e/s in Sand Dune on the lid slightly passing above the crease. Then using a big blender brush, gently sweep the color to get rid of the harsh lines. 3. Using a medium blending brush (MAC 217), apply MEOW e/s in Fur Flyin' on the outer-V. Blend this with your first lid color. 4. Using a much smaller blending brush, intensify the outer-V by applying MAC Espresso on top of the MEOW e/s. Blend, Blend, Blend! 5. Using a bigger flat shader brush, apply MAC Shroom for highlight. Gently sweep using a big blending brush to blend with the l...
