work's still crazy (will even get crazier) and i spend most of my wake hours in the office...i haven't been blogging as much as i used to and i haven't been able to grant any requests =( on top of that, i haven't been wearing eye makeup for weeks because i'd rather sleep for a few more minutes instead of waking up early to do my makeup. i think i'll be losing my mind in no time...rAAAARRR! to finally be able to add some color on my face is like a breath of fresh air for me. it somehow uplifts my mood...and makes me feel a lot more energized despite the lack of sleep and working almost 15hrs a day. so last friday, i ignored the fact that i was running late already as i took time to come up with a fresh look that will help brighten up my day: PAC brow kit MAC brow set in Beguile UDPP MAC e/s in Bitter (lid), Humid (outer-V and crease), Shroom (highlight) MAC Blacktrack UD 24/7 liner in Zero Maybelline Cat Eye mascara Laura Mercier primer MAC SS concealer in NW...

and yet, another look from Urban Decay's Book of Shadows, but this time from the first one that i got...Vol I from Ate Gracie (that i miss so dearly!).. . last year was my sister's JS prom (she's a junior then) and i had to let her look for somebody to do her makeup since i have a gig with Adidas that day. i thought all's well...but when i got home the following weekend and saw her pics, i told myself "I will NEVER let anybody do her makeup (on special events like this) ever again!" i felt so guilty, that i was busy making other people beautiful that day instead of making sure that my sister would look fab and beautiful on her promenade. so this year, when i was told that she'll be having her JS prom on a weekday, i decided to take a leave and make her beautiful myself. my sister wants to have her eyes emphasized and the rest of her face simple. she even told me to make her look like a fairy sans anything avant-garde and what's her term, again...ah, ethereal. yeah, my sis is one helluva demanding client! oh yeah, she'd kill me for posting her "BEFORE" pic and my sis after: EYES: UDPP PAC br...

on days when i haven't had enough sleep the night before (which happens quite often), i try to stay away from dark eye makeup and just play with fresh and glowing shades of pink or peaches. to make the eyes pop and look more awake, lining the lashes with dark but still playful shades will help. nope, this isn't a food post...but a look i came up with using UD Book of Shadows vol. 2 which was given to me by Sol. LOL! alright, i'm kiddin' she's just too nice to let me borrow this since i wasn't able to get myself one. ARGH! surprisingly, i was able to come up with a boring neutral look for my first attempt in using it: PAC browkit UDPP UD e/s in YDK and Twice Baked, a bit of Perversion Maybelline Cat Eyes mascara MAC liner in Smoldering MAC fluidline in Blacktrack Smashbox Photofinish primer MAC SS concealer in NW20 MAC Select Cover in NW20 Revlon Colorstay in Buff MAC SF Powder in NC20 Maybelline blush in Watermelon Monave foundation concealer in Caroline Shu Uemura Matte Loose powder NYX l/s in Fig see those blemishes? they are so horrible that i intentionally loaded up on concealer, it did blend on my skin after anyways. i really am beginning to be into neutrals these days...it's a no-brainer look to come up with when you're in a hurry!

remember my lemming on the Bobbi Bright Eyes palette? an angel might have heard me and asked my dear ate Gracie to give it to me...yey! here's my first attempt to do an eotd using the palette...and of course, it won't stop here. and yes, it might be quite late but i'd still do a review on it soon :) PAC brow kit UDPP Bobbi Bright Eyes palette Maybelline Cat Eyes mascara Prestige Total Intensity Eyeliner in Bold Brown yay...see my cheeks? they have grown big, no?
