Image
for those of you who have been reading my blog for quite a while now, you should already know that visiting Watsons is one of my stress busters. and of course, whenever I would feel like I need to replenish my beauty arsenal, Watsons is one place i'd surely go to. so when i got an invitation to attend Watsons Beauty Lab, I made sure I'd be able to attend so as to be one of those to have a peek of Watsons' new offerings: Pure Beauty Makeup Removers One of Korea's best selling brands, Pure Beauty, has its own range of makeup removers: Perfect Cleansing Liquid, Perfect Cleansing Oil and the Perfect Cleansing Water. Surely, you'd find a variant that you would love and would definitely work for you. This became my instant favorite among the new stuff Watsons is offering. This range is definitely a cheaper alternative to the high-end brands that we got used to. DOVE Foaming Makeup Remover 4 new variants of our favorite facial cleanser, Dove: Be...

Product Review: Purederm Chamomile Nourishing Repair Hair Mask

I admit, I am vain. I love taking care of my skin and well, putting on makeup :) But if there's one thing that I don't really put much effort into, that would be my hair. If ever i'd be visiting a salon, that would be to have my hair cut or colored. But not that much to have it treated with keratin or just to have a hair spa. Recently, I've been trying out some brands of DIY hair treatments. I remember buying a tub of Kerastase months ago and though it's really good, I just can't bring myself to buying a tub every month. oh yeah, i'm cheap like that! So i have to find alternatives. Months ago, I got this gift from Purederm and included was a hair mask...now let's see how good (or not) it is. Chamomile Nourishing Repair Hair Mask Enriched with Chamomile extract, Rosemary extract and other ingredients, it's a rich treatment for frizzy, damaged and unruly hair. With its creamy texture and delicate scent, the mask penetrates at the heart of the ...

Product Review: Purederm 3 in 1 Magic BB Cream

Image
Purederm 3-in-1 Magic BB Cream Moisturizes and protects stressed skin With SPF30 PA++, it blocks out UVA and UVB rays from the sun It's waterproof feature makes sure that the 3-in-1 attributes remain against water and sweat Enriched with natural and herbal tea extracts increases skin elasticity and improves skin conditioning whenever my skin becomes problematic (be it due to stress, or too much experimenting on skincare), i always turn to BB creams. i've always considered these creams as "medicated" foundations that can provide medium to even heavy coverage for skins that can no longer keep up with the harsh ingredients of other traditional foundations. whenever i have a bb cream on, it makes me feel that i am somehow letting my skin heal. i've tried a lot of brands already, and i can only name a few that i liked. though some have promising healing ingredients, they either make me look too pink or grayish. also, some fail to give me the coverage that i need. ...

Product Review: Purederm Acne Wash Cleansing Tissues

I am a sucker for facial wipes. I always make sure that I carry some with me, and my makeup removal routine would never be complete without them. I am such an OC when it comes to removing my makeup that i cleanse my face twice before washing: 1 ) Massage my face with a milk makeup remover, then wipe with a facial tissue 2) Use wet facial wipes to get rid of any residue I've used a lot of brands of wipes before...even MAC. In as much as i love MAC, the price isn't too friendly and my wallet's been complaining for quite a long time now. So i am always in the look out for something that would work as good, if not better. Then I saw this during one of my trips at Watsons: Acne Wash Cleansing Tissues (contains Salicylic Acid / Tea Tree Oil / Aloe Vera) Acne treatment makeup remover tissues Deep cleans, unclogs pores and removes dirt and oil Visibly reduces redness in days makeup remover + acne treatment in one!? whoa, this must be good! so i decided to get myself a box and tr...
