A few weeks ago, after having my hair done at Hairworks  Abu Dhabi, me and my officemate decided to grab ourselves a late dinner.    We saw Mugg and Bean on the same floor where Hairworks is and after telling me how good their food is I can't actually wait for my salon session to be over. LoL! After the salon, we went directly to Mugg and Bean.  We asked the server what time they close and she said 10pm. It was around 9:40pm that time and so I asked her if it's okay. She said "Yes" so we got ourselves seated and checked their menu.   I find their plates a bit small for a restaurant which serves comfort food but what the heck, I don't mind really as long as the food is really good.  I can always refill my plate anyways, right!? ^_^

don't you just hate it when you try to save a little moolah by doing things on your own, and then ending messing up and getting ready to spend more to make up for that stupid mess you did? okay, so the story is i have been planning to have my hair colored again since it has been 7mos already since my last visit to the salon. to save a bit, i wanted to do the coloring for my base color and just have the salon do my highlights (my previous hair color has a base color, and 2 highlight colors). i wanted to go for a dark brown to cover up the blonde highlights so i bought the shade "Dark Mahogany Ash Brown" and guess what happened: it looks black! i swear i've been trying to wash off the color since last night, even woke up early to see my color in broad daylight...and geesh, it is black. not really black BLACK though, but damn, this isn't dark brown! IT'S BLACK! I remember the last time i had my hair colored with black, i ended up sporting a "boy's cut...

please see Cinthia 's post here... let's all say NO to animal cruelty! ugh, now there's no way i'm gonna buy anything from them. i used to have a bunny pet years ago. i still remember how we took care of it, we named it POK (weird name, i know). mom makes sure it's well fed, takes a bath at least 2x a week and cuddled. when POK died, they had no idea how to tell me. it really broke my heart when i learned about it. i can't imagine how people (who call themselves HUMANS) can do this. they should be ashamed of themselves. probably they should try taking their skins from themselves so they would know how to be treated like animals. :( i really, really hate them. sniff

hmp! uh-oh, a rant post (kinda). okay, so i was busy with work when a friend of mine popped up a message asking "so where's your date this coming V-day?" huh? wut the hell... i closed the window and signed-off, checked my calendar and whoa! it falls on a saturday. arrrrghhhhhh! yep, by now you know that i'm one of those who's not excited about the coming v-day. wanna know why? first, X isn't here. so by all means, attack me if ever i'd say that i'll be going out on a date (a romantic date, that is) on saturday. second, i can't remember even a single V-day that i went out on a date. i dunno...we do go out before or after that day, but never on the day itself. X hates the traffic...i would want to say me too, but of course, who wouldn't want to go out on a date on V-day? it may be corny, but hey, i'm still a girl (the last time i've checked, lol) and i still go mushy at times. i guess being pampered and spoiled on Valentines day wo...

just went to the nearest Mercury Drug again to buy some stuffs. i know items there are sold at a much expensive price, but aghh...i am so tired after work that i can no longer go to the grocery and do some decent shopping. anyways, here's what i got: magazines...i wonder why i even buy them. i dont read them anyway, i just look at the pictures...LOL some stuffs...yeah i am taking MET glutathione, i need a dose of antioxidants too ya know! and since i began reading Girltalk again, i bought myself Teranex glycolic soap. just in time, since i am breaking out so baaaddd! lookie: i wish this is not because of the PONDS anti-aging creams i've been using for almost a week now. i am so loving its luminous effect...sigh. i am now back with my anti-acne regimen: Tea Tree toner and Panoxyl cream, and yeah...Teranex! i'm keeping my fingers crossed. please wish me luck! and i also bought this: nahh...i don't have athletes foot! after the shoot, Sophie and I went to the mall to wait for Shen. Good thing, Nikki's also dropping by to hand me my nail pens...yay, so excited! Sophie and I were so hungry after the shoot that we decided to grab some pasta and pizza...we were so full that we wanted to go to bed right away. tee-hee! When Shen arrived, we girls decided to stay at Gloria Jeans while waiting for Nikki.
