…aaannnd I am back here in the sandpit after a 3-week vacation in the Philippines!  It was short, but I've enjoyed every single minute of it. We've gone to a number of places and I can't wait to share with you photos (plus reviews) soon! For today, let me share with you first this month's box from Glambox.  This box arrived way earlier than the usual and while I was still in PH, so sorry for sharing this with you just now. Can you believe it?  We're almost done with the first month of 2014! Despite being not that busy, I was surprised that I didn't notice that days have been passing by so quick.  Now that I finally did notice, I am just getting a lot more excited…why, you ask?  Well, it's because I am going home in two months!      YES, I am going home but only for two weeks.  And if circumstances change, I might only get to stay for a few days.  My sister's graduating from college (can you also believe that!? 'twas just like yesterday when I posted her makeup look for her Senior Prom!) and I have to be there. I've never subscribed to any of the beauty boxes back in the Philippines, but I got to try some of them .  Now that I'm here in Dubai, I also wanted to try out the products available here without my money going down the drain just in case they don't turn out okay on me.  So, I got myself my very first beauty box subscription with Glambox.  Glambox is just like most of the beauty boxes I know from back home.  You sign-up for a 3, 6 or 12-month subscription (sorry, no monthly!) for 239 AED, 449 AED or 849 AED respectively.  Basically,  the price of a box becomes cheaper ...

Last month, I got an invite from these lovely ladies of Glambox Cosmetics for a chance to visit their new makeup studio in Makati. I, together with other bloggers, were also given a chance to have one of the three famous spring-summer runway looks: Guess what look I chose? It's the Spring Awakening, of course!
