Product Review: Benefit Eye Bright

Image
Happy Friday, my loves!  What are your plans for the weekend?  I really hope you could drop by the Supersale Bazaar at the World Trade Center and check out Digitaltraincase's booth.  I'll be there from 12 noon onwards to give you some tips, product recommendations and probably a makeover!  Please say Hi if you see me. ^_^ For today, I would like to share with you one product I couldn't live without: Benefit Eye Bright An instant eye brightener, also called coffee-break in a stick. I've been using white eyeliner for years to give my eyes a more awake look.  It does look unnatural, but  it works.  I first saw this magical stick during the Benefit Sneak Peek, and I immediately wanted to get one.  I held myself back because the white eyeliner still works for me and I was being kuripot at that time, LOL!  But during my trip to Dubai and Mr. X was being extra generous,  I didn't pass on the chance of getting this. ...

I am sure this isn't the first time I posted a look like this one.  This is my go-to look on days I want an "awake" look despite the (almost) sleepless night before.  I try to focus more on the lips and/or cheeks but I still want to give my eyes a certain "pop." Yellow is one of my favorite color.  Given a choice, I'll have my car repainted to Yellow!  But I am sure Mr. X won't let me.  Hmm, but if I'll have it done without him knowing...he won't have a choice anyway, right!? (laughs) Remember my Bumble Bee look months ago? I love that look and decided to re-create it.  But this time, a bit softer and suitable for daytime.  And yes, still using my Beauty Pro eyeshadow palettes! Give your simple eye makeup an extra Omph! + current favorites

On days that I am running late (which is really becoming more often) , I try to veer away from using too much colors for my eyeshadow, to cut my blending effort in half. I usually use a light brown shade for my crease, then a shimmery, almost skin tone shade for my lid. But to give this look an extra oomph, I'd use a colorful eyeliner together with the (mandatory) black eyeliner : Tonymoly eyebrow liner Benefit Lemon Aid Beauty Pro e/s in Khaki Sienna and Shimmer Beige Milani Liquif-eye liners in Aqua and Black Prestige eyeliner in White MAC Brow set in Girl Boy Majolica Majorca Lash Expander in Blue Black (Glass Trick collection) Benefit Eye Bright Whenever I use a colored eyeliner, I'd still use a black eyeliner below it, as close as possible to the lash lines. Well, eyeliners help give an illusion of thick and luscious lashes. And I don't think using other colors aside from the natural color of your lashes would look natural. So black liner topped with your pre...
