I want to say I am not a shoe-holic, but when I saw my shoe rack and the number of shoe boxes of those I haven't used yet, I think I'm not gonna say anything na lang .  Less talk, less mistake. So yeah, no comment! (laughs) Okay fine. I am addicted to shoes.  But don't get me wrong, I am still not the Imeldific -type.  I don't think I have more than 30 pairs as of the moment..okay, not more than 50.  So yeah, I am not in anyway near to being like that.  And besides, the priciest I have would be my Melissa shoes.  Oh geez, I so love their shoes.  I remember I went wacko early this year that I bought 2 pairs in just one week.  I still have a number of their shoes in my wishlist, but for now, I think I would have to make tiis for a bit (I am trying to save up for another pricey purchase for my burday, that's why) and satisfy my cravings for shoes by buying cheap, but still cutey pairs. It's midweek alreaddyyyy, yay!  Two more days and it's....another work weekend.  Sniff. Anyhoo, I just want to show you my latest loot from Forever 21.  I haven't been shopping for clothes lately since I still want to lose some pounds first.  So whenever I drop by the store, I don't go beyond their accessories section. I know, I'm way too old for this kind of necklace! But I don't care...besides, I sometimes think and act like a teenager!  And it's cute.  ^_^ I think I want my name on a pendant too! I think this one's for pa-cute moments. And this one, I really love: I think I'm over my "cross pendant" -phase.  Now I want hearts!  (And not just because it's the love month ha).  I want a heart locket pendant in real gold.  But just thinking about how much it would cost me, makes me realize I'll be okay with these kind of accessories for the mean time.   So cute di ba?  I wish...

"I know I won't be one of those who'll get gaga over Forever 21!" -- Me. I'm sure I don't need to say that I've taken those words back... I love Forever 21.  Would you believe I even dropped by this store in all the malls I went to back in Dubai!?  Mr. X even asked me to visit other stores instead, since we already have this here in Manila.  But nope, I didn't pass on visiting the store whenever I see it.   And since I can't buy new clothes for now (need to lose a LOT of weight first), that won't stop me in satisfying my "cravings" so I ended up with these: Ahhh, a girl (like me) can never have enough accessories! There are lot of summer clothes already in Forever 21.  I would love to get some soon, so please (looks in front of the mirror) Jhengky, stop over-eating!!! 

I can't remember when was the first time I heard about INGLOT, but I know there are a lot of raves about this cosmetic brand made in Poland.  Since then I've already wanted to get my hands on some of their stuff.  So when I was told by Mr. X that we'll be going to Dubai Mall, I just got excited for I know they have a store there! (They also have one in Ibn Batuta Mall). Of course, I have a primary target in mind....eyeshadows! I tell you, they have a wide range of colors!  I was actually drooling all the time I was in their store.  I think I've swatched most of them!  I spent a good 2hrs inside their store that Mr. X fell asleep on their couch!  He can't believe I can spend that long in just one store! ^_^   I love their Freedom System palettes where you can select the shades you want and put them in palettes.  It's like in MAC but I think MAC only has 4 and 15-slot eyeshadow palettes (feel free to correct me if i'm wrong!)...

I can't believe it's February already.  Before we know it, it'll be Christmas again!   LOL!   It's been weeks since I got back and being a good girl with a promise to cut back on shopping, this is my first time to shop again. But nah, I didn't shop for makeup or clothes (because I'm too big and I'm still hoping I'd lose some inches first) but essentials! I know I call makeup my essentials, but this time, I only bought stuff I REALLY need. Finally, Dove Hair Therapy Shampoos and Conditioners are now in the Philippines. We've been buying ours from PX stores in Subic...now, no need to take that extra mile! ^_^ I've been using Nivea creams since time immemorial. I use them on my neck, knees and elbows.  This is the first time i'd be using their Double Effect Shower and Shave cream though.  I've been using Gilette shaving gel for a long time but I think it's time to try out other brands. I initially wanted to put "Something New" on the title but, this stuff isn't really new...well at least to me (and some of my readers) , it is. When I first see these products from Soap & Glory at Boots back in Dubai, I thought they are from Benefit so I checked them out (yep, I'm a sucker for cute packaging!)  So when I realized they're not, I turned my back and walked away...kidding!   Hahaha.  Seriously, I've spent some time checking out their products.  They have skincare and cosmetics, boxed in cute retro pink packaging that made me want to buy everything!  LOL. I didn't buy anything the first time I saw them, but a day before my flight back here, I went up to this mall right in front of our hotel to check Boots for the last time.  I honestly wanted to buy a lot, but after realizing that it's awfully more expensive in Dubai, I tried to hold  myself back.  So I only bought this: Soap & Glory Deep Pore Detox Mask ...

...so I guess it won't hurt to do a bit of accessories' shopping again: I love this necklace. surprisingly, I didn't get any cross necklace this time nah, these are earrings..not bangles! well, it's just because some of my colleagues would say that my earrings can pass up as bangles ^_^ I'm also loving these great buys: that's 7 pairs of earrings...all for a reasonable price! I tried avoiding F21, but their accessories are just too cute! So can we end my accessories' shopping ban now? ^_^

Why, oh why must I always fail whenever I see you? Why must you always tease and seduce me? I always end up being a softie whenever I catch a glimpse of you...I cannot resist you. I hate the fact that I love you so much, Forever21 ! A day before the big sale, I dropped by Forever21 to check out on what they would be offering during the sale...Seeing a lot of people lining up for the fitting rooms, I decided to check on their accessories section first, and oh boy, I ended up spending a lot of time there that I didn't get the chance to check on their clothes anymore!
