last year was my sister's JS prom (she's a junior then) and i had to let her look for somebody to do her makeup since i have a gig with Adidas that day. i thought all's well...but when i got home the following weekend and saw her pics, i told myself "I will NEVER let anybody do her makeup (on special events like this) ever again!" i felt so guilty, that i was busy making other people beautiful that day instead of making sure that my sister would look fab and beautiful on her promenade. so this year, when i was told that she'll be having her JS prom on a weekday, i decided to take a leave and make her beautiful myself. my sister wants to have her eyes emphasized and the rest of her face simple. she even told me to make her look like a fairy sans anything avant-garde and what's her term, again...ah, ethereal. yeah, my sis is one helluva demanding client! oh yeah, she'd kill me for posting her "BEFORE" pic and my sis after: EYES: UDPP PAC br...

i wish i'd stop waking up in the middle of the night salivating over food that i see in my dreams..geesh, i hate myself. i just can't stop eating!!! but thank God for this ready to cook pasta sauces: i still sauteed garlic, onions and 2 cans of spicy tuna though... yummm! i ate like a pig in the wee hours of the morning and hated myself from eating too much right after. help me ladies, how on earth can i stop eating???

guess what greeted me one morning on my way to work? yet another box of stuff from Hedley ! Origins Go Smooth set Avon Magix Perfector, Carmex lip balm, MAC MSF blush in Grand Duo, Nars oil-free foundation, Smashbox Primer and Mario Badescu Buffering Lotion CREST whitestrips (too bad i still can't use it because of these darn braces), Too Faced Lash Injection Mascara, Clinique City Block SPF and sample perfume ELF Powder brush Thanks again, sis! and because i dropped by Watsons first instead of going straight to my car at Podium: i guess i won't have too much toiletries...LOL! told you, i'm such a pig!

(cake from X) HAPPY VALENTINES DAY! again, i don't have the "normal" V-day that most couples have since X isn't here to celebrate it with me. but this year, i celebrated it with my family...and it made my V-day really special. also, i want to greet everybody a KUNG HEI FAT CHOI! it's the year of the Tiger and i hope this year will bring us all good luck and all the great things we've been wishing for. just when i stayed inside the house the whole day to keep myself from unnecessary spending...i found myself going gaga over something: i was salivating over Wendys' fries and frosty...i told myself "NO" because 1) it's late and 2) it's FATTENING! I had to divert my attention to something else by watching tv and munching some stuff i have in my ref. but just before midnight, i can no longer contain my cravings: take note that i didn't call for delivery since they don't deliver fries and frosty (and if ever they do, the quality won't be as good), i drove myself in the middle of the night to satisfy myself. yeah, i'm such a pig! have you ever experienced crazy cravings like this?

on days when i haven't had enough sleep the night before (which happens quite often), i try to stay away from dark eye makeup and just play with fresh and glowing shades of pink or peaches. to make the eyes pop and look more awake, lining the lashes with dark but still playful shades will help.
