Revlon Nail Art Moon Candy and Expressionist...

Image
I miss doing nail art.  I remember when I got so into it, I would change my polish as often as every other day.  I wish I can do it as often, but well, I simply can't. Good to know that a lot of brands are now coming up with nail polishes that can be used to create nail arts easier.  I've tried the BYS Glitter Dust for Nails  and it's such an easy way to have glamorous, red carpet-worthy tips in no time.   And then I got these nail art polishes from Revlon, which I'll be showing you for today's post... Revlon Moon Candy in Orbit Revlon Nail Art Moon Candy in Moon Dust These Moon Candy Nail Art polishes has a creme polish at one end and another end with iridescent flakies. The creme polishes are really opaque that one coat is already enough. Now to apply the flakies on top of your base can be difficult and quite messy.  First because it can be hard to get a good amount on the brush.  I actually kept on putting the brush ...

Eau de Lacoste Pour Femme...

Image
Eau de Lacoste Pour Femme Lacoste's newest fragrance for women is a tribute to the brand's most iconic achievement, the pique polo shirt.  I remember how hard I fell in love with their white pique polo shirt the first time I saw it on a mannequin.  It simply looks so elegant, sporty without looking too casual and well, it indeed looks sosyal.  Too bad, I still can't bring myself to buy one poloshirt for that price.  If it's makeup, then that's a different story. (laughs) Anyway, going back to the perfume... ^_^ Top Notes: White pineapple and Mandarin  Middle Notes: Floral notes of orange blossom, pineapple flower and jasmine  Base Notes: Vanilla and Sandalwood The scent is deliciously soft, creamy and floral with just the right touch of fruitiness.  You can immediately smell the pineapple and can be a bit strong when first sprayed on the skin, but the sweet and warm base of vanilla makes me ...

Something New: Bobbi Brown Long Wear Even Finish Compact Foundation...

Image
Last year, I fell in love with Bobbi Brown Long Wear Even Finish Foundation .  It's the foundation I use whenever I'll have somewhere to go to after a long day at work. With that foundation, I am assured that my skin's at its best from morning 'til night without having too worry too much about retouching. This year, Bobbi Brown came up with another foundation that with just a few times of using it, made it again in my "Must-Have" list...   Bobbi Brown Long Wear Even Finish Compact Foundation Now, one of my favorite foundations come in a fuss-free compact.  It has a sponge, so you can look polish anytime of the day.  No need to bring a separate brush or sponge for retouching.  That is, if you ever need to retouch.  This baby, like its liquid counterpart assures you of skin that looks good from morning til night.  Unlike other cream foundations that I've tried, this one is so lightweight and yet it can cover all your skin imperfectio...

Product Review: K-Palette 1Day Lash Perm Volume Curl Mascara..

Image
BOOH! Okay, don't panic.  I'm not having convulsions, I'm just showing off my lashes! ^_^ And no, they're not falsies...they're my real lashes, volumized and curled to perfection with the help of: K-Palette 1Day Lash Perm Volume Curl Mascara Like the first one, the 1Day Lash Perm Long Curl Mascara, this is also waterproof. It promises volume, long lasting curls and yet, easy to remove.  Like the other new K-Palette products that came out recently, it also has beauty essences that will take care of your lashes while creating impressive curls with volume. The inner curve in the brush is for sweeping the lashes in an upward curl while adding volume instantly. See the shorter brush bristles at the side?  Brush them against your lashes in an upward zigzag motion for more volume.  Lastly, use the fine tip of the brush on your shorter lashes. That's two coats of mascara after curling.  It did weigh down the curl ...

Product Review: Benefit Fakeup Concealer

Image
'twas around January (or Feb) when I first heard that Benefit is coming up with a new concealer that doesn't cake or settle into fine lines, and that will give that amazingly concealed and brightened under eye area.  And for someone like me who's cursed with a wrinkled, dark under eye area...it means SALVATION! So yeah, I actually went gaga for months because the amazing product is due to be launched in April.  To wait that long for something that will help me deal with my beauty problems is not my cup of tea. Me, wait?  DUH.   But I did. (laughs) Oh well, I didn't have any choice.  But I was told that this product is really good that it's gonna be worth the wait. So when I finally got my hands on it during the Bloggers Launch , I instantly knew it's something I'm gonna love to bits.   Benefit Fakeup Concealer A hydrating crease-control concealer with Vitamin E and Apple Seed extract that hides dark circles and diffuses fine lines ...

Power and Beauty Bio-Aesthetiq Essentials...

Image
Do you take vitamins or any kind of supplements?  Well, I do.  I mean, I sometimes do.  (laughs) Mom got me a bottle of supplement for the hair, skin and nails but I just keep on forgetting to take it.  I think Mom needs to get me something for my memory instead. ^_^ I know that we need all the necessary vitamins and minerals to keep us going, and to keep us in tiptop shape.  We are actually supposed to get them from the food we eat. But because of our busy schedules, not to mention that most people are watching their diets, we don't get as much as we need.  So, supplements are the way to go.  They can help assure that we get an adequate dietary intake of essential nutrients.  However, we should be reminded they are just there to complete what's lacking from our diet, not to totally replace the food we must eat. Last month, I got a package from Power and Beauty, an online seller of different brands of health and beauty supplements. I sort of...

Something New: HURRAW! Lip Balms....

Image
Ask me to choose between a lipstick and a lip balm and I'll choose the latter.  My lips easily get dry, despite my oil-slick face, and I tend to lick off lipstick so lip balms are my best bet. Two weeks ago, I was contacted by Rebecca, the official distributor of the newest lip balm in town, called HURRAW! and asked me if she can send me samples.  She even asked me to choose the variants I wanted to try, cool huh!? Two days later, I got my samples: HURRAW! Lip Balms I've tried a lot of lip balms already, but these HURRAW! lip balms are different.  Unlike most of the brands that I've tried, they are: Vegan: No animal used, harmed or tested in any stage of the manufacturing of the product. Made of Raw, Organic and Fair Trade materials:  It contains certified organic, cold pressed and centrifuged extracted nut/seed oils and butters. Gluten-free and GMO (Genetically Modified Organism)-free Non-toxic: There are no petroleum (gives shine to glosses ...
