my attempt on looking fresh: putting on summery colors never fail to set me on a good mood during those days when i feel like i woke up at the wrong side of the bed. on those days, i'd wake up with dull skin and yeah, bad mood. so, i'd start the day with a refreshing bath using my favorite citrus-scent body wash. i would then play with makeup, making sure to apply lively, summery colors to lift my mood...mascara, or even falsies to help open up my eyes and flirty pinkish blush to make me look more alive and full of energy...and of course, pink lips for that sexy pout. i'm a fan of dark-colored clothes but on my "low" days, i try to stay away from them. i'd wear bright colored tops to exude more happiness and energy...and like what they say, we must try to attract positive vibes all the time! and lastly, flash that smile and be ready to face the day with a fresh and positive outlook in life. i thought i'd be contented with my 'lil point-and-shoot cam which i've been using for the past 2 years. i must say it did serve me well...providing me with good photos and made sure i've documented the looks i've been coming up with for my blog. well, i was wrong. i did come to a point that i wanted to get myself one of those bulky DSLRs like my friends and even X have. but then i wonder, what if i get so hooked and wanted to get those nice lens that most of DSLRs users dream of having? yeah, those big, expensive lens that would cost more than my makeup loot for a year! okay, maybe i'm exaggerating...hahahhaa but seriously, they are so damn expensive and they just couldn't get enough of them. i don't wanna be like that, yet. so, just to satisfy the craving (and of course, to replace my old trusty Canon ixus75) of having the feel of a DSLR, i bought: my new baby, Canon G11 Successor of PowerShot G10 , it features 10 Megapixels CCD sensor, 5x optical zoom...

the foodtrippers strike again! and this time, we went to CYMA Restaurant at Shangrila Mall...and yeah, i was so intrigued by Nikki 's food post about Cyma that i insisted on trying it out. busy people during lunch Spinach and Artichoke Fondue, Php350.00 i made sure we ordered this one since according to reviews, this is one of the bestsellers at CYMA. i loooove it! make sure to eat this while the fondue is hot...but be careful not to burn your tastebuds. :) Meatless Moussaka, Php250.00 this has eggplant...but seriously, i hardly tasted it. it's so creamy and literally melts in your mouth, yum! oh no..when will this kind of post ever end? because i got so envy with Sol's gift from J&J, i decided to sign-up for their free stuff as well. and after 3 days, i got mine: aren't they adorable? perfect for traveling! and enabled by MakeupEnvy of Youtube, i got myself another concealer from MAC: MAC Select MoistureCover concealer in NW20 (another perfect match for my undereyes!) my first time to buy a pair of shoes from SM Parisian: i love the perfect and comfortable fit. i wish it would stay that way...if this proves to be good, i'd get myself more! priced at Php999.00, this is a steal. and my big purchase for the week: i so love the blouse that i got myself two! and because i need a wallet so bad: i tried to get one from their stuff on sale, but they are all white. and i can't use anything white! i'd get dirty in no time...yeah, i am that careless.
