Anywhere, Anytime - It's Jergens Time!

Image
Jergens must have been the first lotion I've ever used. I remember those huge Jergens in Original Scent pump bottles that friends from abroad would give us as pasalubong.  I didn't particularly like the scent back then, but I love that it really moisturizes my skin.  My last memory of Jergens is their Naturally Smooth Shave Minimizing variant, that I've used back in the days when I've finally learned shaving my leg hairs.   Fast forward to 2012: We can now moisturize our skin anytime, anywhere without having to bring those huge, pump bottles with these new Jergens 100ml tubes, imported from Australia! New Jergens in 100ml tubes Don't you just love it when everything turns travel-friendly? ^_^ Jergens Age Defying Multivitamin Moisturizer , rejuvenates skin and minimize the effects of skin aging Jergens Ultra Healing Extra Dry Skin Moisturizer , penetrates through the 5 layers of the skin's surface to start healing at the sourc...

Product Review: Laneige Snow BB Soothing Cushion SPF50+ PA+++

Image
I've always been curious about Laneige products since I first read about it in a magazine and saw that the beautiful Song Hye Kyo is their endorser.  Well, with an endorser as gorgeous as her, who wouldn't get enticed to use the products she's (supposedly) using?  Okay fine, I am gullible like that.  What can I do, I love her! ^_^ But I really haven't gotten the chance to check out a Laneige counter.  But trust me, I already have a list! (laughs)  Thanks to our friends from Laneige, I got the chance to try out my first ever Laneige product.... Laneige Snow BB Soothing Cushion SPF50+ PA+++ An addition to their Snow BB line, this Snow BB Soothing Cushion SPF50+ PA+++ (whew!) comes with these 5 amazing benefits: 1. Sweatproof , it helps makeup stay unspoilt and beautiful all day 2. Whitening , it contains patented White Plus Renew Complex TM with strong melanin reduction ingredients and y-PGA for increased suppleness and luminosity 3. Hydr...

Caronia: Miss Mystic Collection...

Image
With the Christmas Holidays just around the corner, different brands of nail polish are coming up with their holiday collections.  And our very own local brand Caronia, also came up with theirs, called Miss Mystic Collection . Miss Mystic Collection Moss - Rouge - Taupe Rouge , basic red in a not-so-usual elegant shade  I love red nail polish and this is one shade I will never get tired of using.  This kind of red makes the skin appear lighter.  Taupe , great nude shade to complement the season's hottest colors and shades I first thought this is the same with their famous shade, Touch of Tan, but it isn't. This one's a tad darker, and like Rouge, it makes skin look lighter too!  This shade goes well with any color of your outfit. Moss , deep-green shade with a hint of frost I am not a fan of frosted polishes, but this one's an exception.  And usually, frosted polishes tend to be streaky, this one's not....

Droplets of Nature Dishwashing Liquid: Tough on grease, but not on your hands...

Image
If there's one household chore I love doing, it would be washing the dishes.   Weird, but I find it therapeutic and relaxing especially when I'm bothered or when I need to decide about something.  Maybe it's the feeling of the water running through my hands, or probably the bubbles (I love playing with bubbles when I was a kid), or perhaps the satisfaction I get when I'm able to get the dirt out of the dishes.  I remember when I would ask our help to let me wash the dishes instead, and dear Mom would freak out and ask why on earth am I washing the dishes. LOL.  Too bad, I don't get to wash as much dishes here in Manila as when I'm back home in the province. But in as much as I love washing the dishes, I hate what happens after.  My hands will itch like crazy.  Yes, I am allergic to some soaps and detergents.  My hands will get really dry, and I won't be able to stop myself from scratching so I end up having nasty rashes. I've tried a lot of di...

Playing with Makeup: Mon Shu'ed

Image
...so when was the last time I did a "Playing with Makeup" post?  Honestly, I miss doing it.  I wish I have the time to do it often.  Anyways, here's something I came up with last week after I got home from work. I was taking pictures of my Mon Shu doll and got envy with her bangs that I decided to (sort of) replicate her look: Jhengky-san and Mon Shu saying GENKI DESUKA!? I wish I could cut my hair to have a bob like hers. ^_^ I love this pair of premium falsies from the Shu Uemura x Karl Lagerfeld collection. (Php4000) I actually considered getting myself a pair of red contacts... LOL! I hope you like it. Now, do you like my bangs? ^_^ See more of my "Playing with Makeup" posts here . Happy Thursday, everyone! Please like me on Facebook ( IambrigittePage ) and follow me on Twitter ( Iamsutil ) and Instagram (Iambrigitte)
