Product Review: Blistex Lip Tone

i am not really into lipsticks for i tend to lick/bite my lips most of the time that I'll just end up having stains on my teeth or have my lipstick all over the place. i put lipstick in the morning, and in less than 2hrs, my lips will be free from any trace of it. i tried wearing those kinds that will stay 24hrs but they dry my lips so i stay away from them...or maybe, if i could only stop myself from all these licking and biting, i'd be better off.

but for the meantime, i prefer lip balms. i love my MAC lip moisturizer (clear one) but i figured that i need at least a hint of color on my lips most especially when i'm in the office where it's really cold.

what i love about it:

• this Blistex Lip Tone lip balm is such heaven-sent. It's like my YLBB (Your lips but better) kind of balm. i can apply every 5 minutes without the fear of applying too much since it's just like my natural lip color

(but better!). and i can apply it without looking in the mirror, too! LOL

• i also love the smell...it's chocolatey! i can't seem to get enough of it. it's like having your dose of chocolate when you are feeling down...and i do feel like that when i'm so stressed out at work!

• it's cheap too! i think it's a little over a hundred bucks (Php100++) and i've been using mine for more than 3 months and i don't think i have used up a quarter.
  

• it's not sticky and its size would surely fit in your cosmetic cases or even in your pocket (i keep mine inside my coat when i'm in the office).
  

what i don't love about it:

nadah!

i have one wish though...to have it in a tube like that of MAC's so my friends would think i am using lipstick instead of a lip balm during touch-ups. what do you think? hahaha
